Fantasy May 2017 Dry Dock information available now

The Disney Parks Blog posted about what they will do during the upcoming dry dock:

New experiences in the kids clubs, addition of an ice cream shop (themed to Mickey shorts, not Wreck it Ralph) and a Tiffany store.

On our cruise in November a part of the one shop was already taken over by Tiffany. So, I would guess that this will be turned into a permanent space.

I'm glad the ice cream shop won't be a facsmilie of Vanellope's, but on the other hand it perfectly fits the theme. Hopefully the end product looks cool.

Don't like the Tiffany & Co idea at all though. Very un-DCL like.

We will try the ice cream shop on first cruise after dry dock. My son will love the kidsclub addition. I will not be able to afford Tiffany shop.

I'm also not thrilled with the Tiffany addition. The holotable in the club looks very cool though.

On our last cruise the Tiffany section was in the shop that is selling the high end adult merchandise (non-Disney) already. I really do not see any difference between them selling expensive watches and Sophia Fiori jewellery and Tiffany. I thought the Tiffany space was very nicely done (will try to see if I have any pictures) and they had some really cute things in there. I was tempted to get one item that was actually not outragously priced (if I remember correctly around $ 200).

Delighted to hear of the changes coming to the Fantasy beginning with the 5/17/17 cruise. Sweet on You sounds wonderful and I'm sure I'll be in there more than once during the cruise. I'm sure I'll enjoy seeing the Tiffany & Co. store as well but too expensive for me to purchase from that one, especially
after paying off the cruise.

Having different merchandise on the cruise ship is always something to look forward to but should be geared more to the average person. Talking about Tiffany here.

I found the cost to be justifiable on the Dream for most items and would not hesitate using this location once per cruise.

It's completely expected, Vanellope's on the Dream (which this store will be the Fantasy's version) has charged ever since it was added a couple years ago.

Count us in too! My kids will love the changes. Both love Star Wars & Marvel and who doesn't like ice cream.

Some families spend their money on alcohol. Our family will spend money on the ice cream. I still don't feel this is a nickel and dime ship. We tried Carnival last year and felt that there. If we wanted a steak in the main dining room there was a charge. If you wanted a soda there was a charge.

On the Dream it is still available, so I think the same will be the case with the Fantasy.

Should be. Its still available on the dream and they have the venelope ice cream shop

Updated deck plans have been released.

Items of note:
- Juice bar will be added in Senses (like on the Dream)
- Shutters Portrait Studio to be added Deck 4, midship.
- Vacation Planning Center will remain where it currently is near Connect@Sea (on the Dream it moved to be near the Vista Gallery)
- Tiffany & Co will occupy the space where the Vista Gallery is currently located. As a result, the Gallery will be moved to Deck 2 to the area where the staircase sits near Enchanted Garden.

My assumption is the Vacation Planning Center isn't being relocated to where it is on the Dream as it would adjoin onto Tiffany & Co.
