I really want to ride dumbo...mad tea party looks good, but might make me sick....

If I like it I can just see cnn the next day
"live from orlando- crazy woman waited 30+ years to ride dumbo wont get off and let someone else have a turn".... :rolleyes1

You'll find adults on every Fantasyland ride. A lot of the time without kids. We have no kids in our family, that doesn't stop us from enjoying every ride in Fantasyland!
Really, you will have no problem here. Disneyworld is much an adult's place as a kid's place.

My hubby and I are big kids in adult bodies. ;) Of course we ride all the attractions in Fantasyland! You won't be alone. :)

My DH and I go on many of the rides. It normally depends on the lines whether we are willing to get into them. Pooh and Pan are both amazing and well worth seeing. It's a Small World is a classic that many adult only parties go on. I enjoy Tea Party, the carosel, and Snow White if they are not too crowded. I haven't been on Dumbo in years but if DH had been willing to stay with me I was going to get in line last time we were there. I will go on it during my birthday trip though. Disney is a place where everyone gets to become a child again so if you want to go on those rides enjoy them. Check out the adults and Solo Travelers board for places to eat that are nice if you are alone or without kids and more solo riding info.

Adults and kids alike love Fantasyland. Getting there at park opens you can beat the crowd and also use fast pass for most so you don't have to wait in long lines if you feel out of place. Many can be both fun for kids and romantic for adults.

This past April in Disneyland I rode Peter Pan, Snow White's Scary Adventures, Mr. Toad, Alice In Wonderland, and Dumbo not only without kids, but with my own ride vehicle all to myself. Sometimes while wearing my gold Mickey ears and always with a big grin on my face. And I'm 34 years old. Disney parks are a place for everybody to be a kid again. Don't be embarrassed.

Me and DH rode all the Fantasyland rides before we had DD. Now DD is 15 and has taken friends with her the last two years and they always want to ride all the fantasyland rides. Even Dumbo with their ears on. :dumbo: You will see lots of adults on all of these rides, they are the classics. I also recommend to anyone to get there first thing in the morning and go to fantasyland first. It is cooler and less lines but shhhh don't let no one know that. :sunny:

definitely go for it! I think us "big kids" have more fun than the little ones some times. Sometimes I feel sorry for the stroller patrols out there, the only thing I'm hauling around is my white behind.

We rode a few when we were childless. I think we tried them all at Disneyland Paris. Funnily enough we still haven't taken DS5 on Dumbo (time isssue) or SnowWhite (time, rather than the scary issue)

What DD14 loves about WDW is that EVERYONE is a kid when they're there. It's like it's a level playing field. Especially at her age - where she's not sure where she belongs - she appreciates it all the more. We ride all the "kiddie" rides and have a blast!

Oh, no, you won't be the only one! My kids are all grown and out of the house, yet I head for Fantasyland first thing! One of my tags concerns Cinderella's Carousel. One time I tried to get up on a horse that was stopped too high and it was a real struggle to haul myself up on it. Quite embarrassing and probably funny to see. Now I make it a point to look for a horse that's stopped lower in its "cycle" of up-down. I'm going in September, and I can't wait for the Little Ones Magical Beginnings (or whatever it's called) when Fantasyland opens one hour early. I'll be there!

We try to do those rides, but the lines are usually really long, so we skip them. On our last trip, we go to go on Peter Pan, but we haven't been able to ride Winnie The Pooh or Snow White in years. But I love those rides. I'm the youngest of the family at 16, but we all do those rides anyway.

On our last trip DF and I headed straight for Fantasyland at park opening and by 9.30 we'd ridden everything bar Dumbo and the Tea Cups :D

Got some wonderful photos of the area deserted, and of a carousel empty apart from us, which was very romantic

The rides in Magic Kingdom are for everyone to enjoy, especially the ones in FantasyLand.

Love the Fantasyland rides! Went to Disneyland with my mom and both of us were wearing our golden ears on all the rides. Two mornings we were the first riders on Peter Pan's Flight, which made my day. It's still my favourite ride.

Yep. Same with us. And you will see lots of adults without kids in WDW. Everywhere. It's a family place, and families are made up of people of all ages - from 1 to 99 - and hey, maybe even younger and older! :teeth:

Absolutely go on the "kiddie" rides! They are part of the whole Disney experience! Believe me, you won't look silly! This is a place where adults eat breakfast with Mickey and sing along with Pirates!
