fantasy land breakfast

Hi All
Could you explain fantsyland breakfast is it something you pay extra for .
we are staying at Newport bay

We had breakfast in the Cafe (??) de Marionettes (I think its called) on Saturday and it didn't cost us any extra. We were staying at the Santa Fe hotel, with breakfast each morning and there was no problem booking the breakfast in the park. We did it when we first arrived and thought it was great cause it got us in nice and early

Hi Janet!
GMFB is part of your package so it`s free, you get to enter the park one hour before officially opening and after having breakfast you have the great opportunity to go on some of the rides like Peter Pan before the crowds arrive. You can enter Fantasyland by train or walk through Main Street which I think is much faster and a good time for taking photos of the castle!
When arriving at the hotel you can choose the day for your GMFB, the choice of food is the same as the hotels offer (at least the santa fe don`t know about the Newport though).
So good chance to experience Fantasyland without queuing!

Definitely walk through the park if you can. It's a lovely time to be there, virtually alone, and you get there long before the crowds on the train.

We stayed Admiral's Floor at the NPB and the breakfast was not of the same standard as that of the one at the hotel, but I don't know what the standard NPB breakfast is. Having said that we always book one GMF just for the early entry into Fantasyland, with regard to the meal itself we usually just grab a few croissants and an orange juice and go.
Au Chalet de la Marionette (good for Peter Pan) or Bella Notte (right by IASW)are the 2 restaurants normally used for the GMF.
