Fantasy June 8th, 2013. Who's going?

Well, after looking at DISboards for a while I have found myself compelled to register and post something. So, a little about me and my family.

We are the Diniz (pronounced "Denise", like the girl's name) family and we are from Bakersfield, CA (north of Los Angeles). We are a family of 5 which includes me, my DW Liz(I'm not allowed to give her age), DD12, DD10, and DD8. Everyone, including me, is excited about our first cruise and can't wait to go. We will also do a pre-trip to Universal Studios and WDW for a week prior to the cruise. I read about the FB page and about FE (sounds fun). Can't wait!

We are so excited to be on this cruise, too! This will be our 2nd cruise, our first was the Dream in Jan 2012. It will be me, DH, and our 2 kids (DD is 11 and DS is 9).

We finally booked our flights and are getting very excited!!

We'll be there on the 8th too--- so excited. There are 6 of us. Myself and my husband, my parents and my daughter 20, and son 10! We are from Savannah Georgia and have cruised with Mickey 4 times.

We were on the week prior to that ... I think we sailed Jan 4? It was warmer by the end of the week, but we were wearing Jackets the first stop at Castaway Cay... we are FL people - we like Sun and HOT!

This is our second cruise on the Fantasy and would really like to participate in the FE group, I tried to send a private message, but since I don't have 10 posts on this forum it said I wasn't able to. Let me know if there is another way to contact the person in charge of this, my kids would love to join.

For those wishing to sign-up for the FE, please PM your email address so that I can send you a link to the sign-up sheet. Deadline to participate is: May 13, 2013

If you are on the FB group (which is a closed/private group), the link is available under the 'Events' tab.

Closer to the cruise date, I will request for all participants to send me a mobile number to text/contact participants - in the event of any last minute room changes.

FYI: the link I provide will be a closed sheet and only viewable to those with access to the link. Please be sure to clear your history for your privacy if you are on a public computer.

When searching for June '13 cruises on the Fantasy, our sail date of June 8 no longer comes up to book. The other 4 June dates come up and still show some rooms so guessing our sailing is booked full

I can't believe I just finally got around to booking this thread and we have been booked forever!

I'll be cruising with DH (Kevin), DD12 (Jillian), and DD10(Cassie). I think it will be our 6th or 7th Disney cruise?

We just booked the Salsa & Salsa excursion for Cozumel. Still trying to figure out if we want to do anything else?? My kids hate getting salt water in their mouths, so that takes out a whole lot for us!

We love doing the Wine/martini/etc tastings. Hopefully we will meet up with some of you there! I tend to spend a lot of my time reading in places that people will leave me alone. I spend the rest of my life online about 24/7 so the break from the internet is one of the things I like best about being at sea.

I am going to read back through the whole thread to get to know you all a bit. I also signed up for the FB group. We have made friends on past Disney cruises over the past 10 years that we are still friends with.

It's great to have found this thread. Our family is excited to be going on our 4th Disney Cruise on the Fantasy! We've been on the Wonder three previous times and they were all great cruises. We'll be spending a few days at WDW before we sail.
