Packing cubes are great! We arrived ar WDW at about 2:00 and dropped ds off at Disney Quest while DH and I checked into Saratoga springs. Now we are relaxing in our room. Looking forward to tomorrow!!

We got an over the door shoe organizer to use as extra storage. It's great for toiletries (and shoes).

We left Disney Quest around 230 today and went to Ragland for lunch.

We're here and doing the happy dance!!! We were able to upgrade, so to our FE friends, please find us in room 9612 instead of 2526.
Thanks and see you onboard.

According to the person who checked is in, the ship is about 200 rooms short. Sounds good to me.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Just wanted to extend a huge thank you to our fellow FE participants! My kids (and adults too) enjoyed the thoughtful FE gifts that mysteriously appeared throughout the cruise....they are some of out favorite souvenirs! It was great putting faces to names...

Hope everyone had a great cruise...we are now on part 3 of our vacation....spending 5 days at Vero Beach....missing the ship already :(

Safe travels home.....

Thanks to everyone for being involved in the FE. It was fun seeing and getting all of the creative gifts. With all the candy it was better than Halloween (almost).

Thank You for all the wonderful FE gifts !!! It was great to meet a few of you! Wish I could have met more of you! Hate to have missed the meet but went to the spa and won a free massage! :thumbsup2
It went by way to fast!! Had a blast and wishing for the next one to be sooner than later!

Ditto all of the thanks for gifts! Sorry we didn't get to the meet up, but time got away from us!! "No name", our friends who went with us, say thanks also. We really enjoyed coming back to all of the neat things. They were great, as was our first Disney cruise!! In withdrawals and depression now that we're back to reality;-(

AWESOME cruise!!! We are very sad to be back home.

Nice putting faces to names at the meet up and saying hi to some of you around the gorgeous Fantasy.

Wahhh!! We've been off the ship for almost a week and I still miss it like crazy!!!! Just got back from WL and the world. It all seemed like so much work after the cruise and I didn't understand what those numbers were on the menus!!!! We did the world after the cruise because we are park commandos and I didn't want any of us sick before the cruise (lucky thing we did it this way since my dd has a cold now...)

We had a such a wonderful time on the cruise (I even convinced my dh to book a placeholder while he was relaxing on the verandah ;)). With all the magic happening, I must say that the FE was the winner for that true magical feeling!!! All the work everyone put into the gifts: the exciting information about where they were from; the beautiful hand made items that will be cherished forever; items that made my favorite night more "piratey"; food, glorious food; fun things for the kids; the list goes on and on!!! I know it seems silly, but for us it was the best part of the cruise. Having fun putting items in everyone's FEs, checking out your doors, seeing more of the ship, and of course that happy feeling seeing something in our FE when we got home. :goodvibes:goodvibes

Thank you link for organizing it for us. It was our first cruise and we had no idea what we were doing but you made it easy.

Also, thank you everyone for answering my questions and helping me get ready for this great trip. I could have done it without you but it would not have been anywhere near as wonderful (that shoe holder was the bomb!!!)

It was fun meeting all of you on the first day. It was weird how I saw some of you all the time and the rest of you never again :confused3 Probably had to do with the dining rotations. I also think I stalked noahsmom (who is still doing her back to back :beach:) from the pool deck all the way back to her room with my stealthy, squeaky crocs on....

I hope our little group keeps talking. I don't know what I will do without our little chats all the time (I guess I could unpack and clean the house, but what fun would that be?).

Does anyone else have anymore cruises planned? Right now we are thinking summer 2014. Russell at the future cruise desk said 2014 would be out this October--any takers????

I think you expressed a lot of our feelings very well. FE, big thumbs up. I too was amazed at how much and little we saw of some families. In particular I was saddened by not bumping into you again. I was looking forward to conversation over a cup of Earl Grey, which by the way I drank at almost every meal of the cruise. This weekend I'll begin looking at excursions for Christmas on the Fantasy, part of our very extended back to back!

I also had earl grey, hot every night with dinner. Okay, now I miss that too!!! I did not see that extra cruise on your sig. I like the idea of an extended back to back. Are you in your same room? I am now living vicariously through others planning their cruises..., but also sad as you will all be heading to your new meet threads without me...:sad2:

I was surprised we didn't see you more, especially since our boys were the same age, but neither ds or dd liked the clubs :confused3, or maybe it was that they wanted to spend every minute with their sparkly personality of a mother :rotfl2:

DS loved the Vibe but maybe after 10 days of constant togetherness in the parks he needed a little him time too. End result was that we purchased a length of cruise pass for the Rain Forest Room. As for our extended B2B, we left the ship calling it the beginning of our 5 month port adventure.

I can't wait for the 2014 itineraries. We too are thinking of cruising in the summer of 2014. We have a dummy cruise booked waiting to change it to 2014. I think I convinced my brother and his family to cruise too!!!

We are finally home! The FE's were great - especially the power bar!!! I had one packed but it was taken out of the bag during the drive down and not put back in, so I was a little irritated when I unpacked it was gone. Our 2nd cruise was nice. People on that cruise seemed much grumpier than the 1st week. I don't know why that is but rudeness was everywhere. Drive home was uneventful but long. Now I'm doing laundry and trying to put stuff away. I'd really rather go down to Skyline and get another Squished Frog....

Thanks for all the FE gifts. They were all awesome. We had a great time on the cruise despite the 24 hour isolation due to Peyton getting sick. We had to cancel our Captain Alan's snorkeling trip in St. Maarten and could not get off the boat in St. Maarten but we were to pick up a snorkeling trip to Trunk Bay in St John the next day. Captain Alan's was wonderful and refunded our deposit.

Not glad to hear your DS and DD didn't like the clubs but do feel a little better knowing that my DD's(especially 13 yr old) and our friend's DD's (especially 12 yr. old) weren't the only ones in the entire world who didn't particularly like the Clubs! That tween age is a hard one I guess. As soon as my 13 yr. old and her friend went to an initial activity they didn't connect with, that's all they needed in order to "know" they weren't going to like going ever again ;-( Anyway, us parents now refer to our tween/teen as being "on the edge" as an inside joke when they are being hard to deal with!!
