One of the advantages (or disadvantages) of having an AP is that you really can plan spur of the moment visits to Disneyland. So, on Thursday night, my one day visit for today became a two day getaway next weekend. Because of the price and my usual options being more expensive than I wanted, I decided to try America's Best Value Fantasy Inn and Suites on 425 W. Katella.
The website says it's a block from Disneyland and within walking distance, but I've seen many places advertise that they're within walking distance to Disneyland if you feel like walking 25-30 minutes, but they don't tell you the 25-30 minutes part.
The reviews I read on Trip Advisor indicate that it's 10-15 minutes to walk to the parks. Is this accurate or should I just plan on using my car to drive to the Mickey & Friends lot? Honestly, I hope it's within realistic walking distance so I don't have to deal with driving to the parks this trip, but at this late hour, I'm just happy to have found a place that fit my budget.
