was thinking of doing a firework cruise on Dec 30th or 31st. Anyone know if and were they would be available and cost, and if they would have for both nights or just NYE. I cant seem to find any info on.. but read a post a while back that someone did one.

They have cruises for both. You must be very specific when booking or they will try to tell you the Wishes cruise is the same thing. If they agent cannot find it call back and get another agent. If you are staying CL get them to book it for you as they have a better understanding of what you are trying to book.

They have recently become wise and raised the prices for Dec. 30th. We used to always book the 30th as it was much less expensive. The holiday prices have really risen and last year it was over $500 for the small pontoon boat even on the 30th. I have noticed they have begun doing this for July 3rd as well, another cruise we liked to book. If you are quoted the standard $300 price book it and they will honor it.

Note the cruises only include sodas, and light snacks like chips. You need to have cakes and other food catered thru Disney Dining. If you have a celebration they will decorate the boat. Before the boat leaves ask your captain to make sure he/she has blankets. We were out of Dec. 30th 2012 in bitterly cold weather, and they did not put blankets on the boat until we asked. We usually stay somewhere on the monorail and have just been picked up at our resort. HTH.

Thank you for info.. one more ? what time are the cruises for both night?

I believe we left the resort in the boat about 11:30 ? The boat was actually there earlier and the captain had to go get our cake and then I asked him about blankets as I knew they were available from previous cruises. That year was the only time I had to ask. I believe our crew was very new as we had two captains/crew members and previously it was only 1 on the small pontoon boats.

I did forget to mention that gratuity is not included in the price. Although they say the price is for 60 minutes we have had some run over, especially the Illuminations cruises. We have had great captain's and so-so, luck of the draw I guess.
