Fantasy February 16, 2013 - 7 Night Western Cruise Meet

We trade pins in the park on our last cruise in 07 we weren't into pin trading yet so yes we are going to try this cruise

I'm trying to get organized and was going through both the spread sheet from Disney1430 and the list that Silmarg has made and now I have a couple of questions.....

1. Nikitta28's Friends (the Rasmussen Family) are in which room? The original message from Nikitta28 stated room 10016 but Silmarg shows 10046

2. Is MagruderMakes3 out? They are on the spreadsheet but not on Silmarg's list.

3. Our friends, TheChavezLuvDisney is DW,DH,DD9,DD7. On the spreadsheet it is ? & ? for Men and Women.....I just thought I'd clear that up!

As someone who has done the FE about 7 times now might I make a few suggestions -

someone divide us into specific days so that everyone doesnt unload the first few days (the last day i wouldn't use because everyone is trying to pack up)

someone have a dry erase board in front of their cabin door (im happy to offer mine) in case someone has a cabin change at check-in (happens all the time) or if someone needs to leave the FE people a message. I can also leave an FE list outside my cabin incase someone forgets theirs.

Im super excited to go! This cruise will finally make us platinum after its completion : ) Everyone in my family agrees this is the best week of the entire year.

ps- does anyone have pin traders on the FE list?????

With such a giant ship, we don't do all of our FE deliveries in one day. Rather we do the 5th floor one night on the way to dinner, the 6th floor the next morning on the way to breakfast, 7th floor as we are heading to disembark for a port, etc. I feel like trying to do it all in one day would be a bit much--at least for my family. We like to spread it out.

I will have a dry erase board and extra copies of the FE list - if you change staterooms or take an upgrade, please write it on my board.

I agree with another poster, we spread out our delivery of FEs over a few days. Actually if the kids are driving us nuts in our room, we ask them to deliver a few FEs for us!!! We've seemed to have good luck in our prior FEs with gifts being naturally spreadout.

mail,with a big smile saying"We got a package from Disney".
I'm finding no matter how old they get I still see those little boy smiles.

could get settled at the hotel and still have time for Magic Kingdom before
going to Bomas for dinner.

We also break it out - I also let my two kids deliver them. They like to split them up between them and sneak them in to the FE's when no ones looking

If you booked with Dreams Unlimited, they have been including a dry erase board in the gift baskets they are placing in the staterooms for their clients.

I've never booked through them - we usually book while sailing (for discount and on board credit) then switch over to AAA once they start giving out the free photo packages - that way we keep the discout and on-board credit.

Queston - so I know for next time can you transfer an existing reservation to Dreams Unlimited and keep all your benifits of booking onboard AND get their extra benifits too??????

Our kids are just about the same ages my older son Nicholas is 15
and our Matthew is 12.Maybe if all the kids come to the cruise meet
they'll make some friends right from day 1.

I'm desperate for the early dinner time as well. That late seating just doesn't work for me.

We switched a to the late diner the 2nd time we went on a Disney Cruise, because DS would always fall asleep at the shows (and be VERY SAD that he missed it). At dinner, if he feel asleep, the waiters just pulled up an extra chair proped his feet up, layed a napkin over him, packed up his dinner and let him sleep.

Now that both are older we don't have that problem (thank goodness, but truth be told I miss it too...) - So, we thought we would try it again my only concern is the popularity of the early dinner might be a little crowded - we love conversating and joking with the wait staff and they might be too rushed to be able too

Decisions Decsions???
