Very cool to see everyone on Facebook! This seems like a small group so far... Are there likely to be loads more people or is this a quiet sail date? so nice to "meet" you all. I think the Facebook group will be open during my course this summer on a different tab... Might just keep me sane!!

Hello, DW (kgoldenh) has already posted, but I figured I would get into the act. We are looking very forward to the cruise, but curious about the differences between the Magic (2x cruise there) and the fantasy. Also, as other have stated, our first time without a veranda. Any info on the ship? I am very curious, that and about the eastern Caribbean, we have done western, but never eastern - also curious about two back-to-back days at sea.

Okay, I am getting into this a little too much now. Anyone know of any scubba diving excursions? My wife and I are long-time divers and the kids are "soon to be certified" (pool and class room stuff finished last weekend, c dives in two weeks).

We've been on the Magic and the Dream. The biggest differences for me were the AquaDuck (LOVED IT), the size of the ship WAY bigger, and how the elevators at the end of the ship came up into Cabanas (buffet dining) - a little strange but I got use to it!

Okay, I am getting into this a little too much now. Anyone know of any scubba diving excursions? My wife and I are long-time divers and the kids are "soon to be certified" (pool and class room stuff finished last weekend, c dives in two weeks).

I think there are opportunities at both ports - St. Maarten and St. Thomas. I definitely know that you can book an excursion thru Disney for St. Maarten. You may have to book your own through a private company in St. Thomas. We did the Doubloon Sail and Snorkel last time we were at St. Thomas - one of the ship's "hands" was a graduate student (Marine Biology) on a little break from "real" life (her quote) - she guided us on the snorkel -she was so informative - and lucky - my girls got to see 2 large sea turtles swim by.
Sorry I digress - Just meant to say that St. Thomas has some beautiful reefs.

Well this will be our first Fantasy too. We have done Wonder then Magic and our first Eastern. I am so looking forward to see the new beaches and such. I have been researching the ship and because I work for expedia selling cruises it's something I have learned a lot about. I can't wait to see it all in person.

There isn't a list yet as there isn't very many of us on here yet but believe me there will be. I wan't going to be part of it but I have since changed my mind. I just love it all and well since there is more time at sea I think it will make it easier to pass them out then.

This will be our 41st Disney cruise, 3rd on the Fantasy. Not sure which cabins we will wind up with because our family group may have my mother in law, friend, and sister in law sailing as well.
