Day 5 (cont)
After we left San Juan and the characters were back out in full force, my DH took DS out for a stroll to see who they could find. Well, they came across Pinocchio with little to no line over at the Walt Disney Theatre. So, they visited for a while (I was not present for this). DH came back to the room and told me all about the fun I had missed and was upset because he didn't take the camera with him. I looked at the navigator and saw that Pinocchio was still scheduled to be out for a while so I told him to go back with the camera. So they did and I followed shortly. Still with almost/if none all of a line, DS and Pinocchio played some more. It was the cutest/best time ever! Pinocchio of course is on the shorter side so it makes playtime so much easier. Our DS had no idea (prior to the cruise) who Pinocchio was, but that didn't matter. Our DS had taken to kissing ALL the characters on the nose and Pinocchio's of course is the best for that! They played peek-a-boo, tummy time, kisses and even DS got a push in his stroller by Pinocchio. Truly a magical & memorable event!
Later on, we spoke to the person helping Pinocchio and that person told us it was the most fun they had ever had helping Pinocchio. Also, the next day DS received a note from Pinocchio at our stateroom with a picture and signature. On the back it said something like "I really enjoyed our play time together today, hope to get to see you again soon. Love, Pinocchio"
The shutter photographers took numerous shots during the playtime as well as DH taking from our camera.
It's moments like this, and so many other as well, that we LOVE Disney!

We were actually the other family sharing Sergio and Aries with you. They were the best servers!
My DD is planning to do our trip report from the perspective of a teen, but finding the time since we've been back is tough.

Hi hezzie how funny ya'll were right next to us! Yes, Sergio is great. Like I mentioned, we've had him several times and are sort of bummed because he won't be on the ship the next sailing we're scheduled for. And of course we enjoyed Aries as well. Sergio always has a different assistant so it was the first time meeting her.

Day 6 (last sea day)
This day started off much like the rest of the sea days. We headed to the Princess Gathering (#3). One can never get enough princess I guess. There was also another dance party in the Atrium again as well. A couple of different characters attended this one than the one earlier in the week.
Of course we had pool time and aqua duck time. Also an early show was performed so we went to that. This is also semi-formal night for dinner. We had plenty of time to get ready for dinner and also get more pictures done. This is pretty much the last opportunity to get family shots and shots around the atrium as tomorrow's photos are only taken on castaway cay. Before and after during (all day really) there are many character opportunities around the ship. Which of course was perfect for us!
After dinner DD and friends went to the club/lab for a little bit. I tried to begin packing some..as I am always rushed to do it on the last night.
Pretty much all the sea days were the same for us but we love sea days!
Tomorrow: Castaway Cay!

Castaway Cay Day!!
We've been to Castaway many times before but I was really looking forward to this one very much. Why, because I was very excited to run in the Castaway Cay 5K!! I recently lost 25lbs and 3 pants sizes drinking nutritious shakes from Visalus and have been training real hard to run this 5k! I woke up early and had a small breakfast in Cabanas. Then I walked up Goofy Golf and watched us dock. I always enjoy watching this and it was a beautiful day to do so. There were no problems docking and we were actually able to get on the island a little early. Around 9:15 the 5k group was led off the ship and we walked over to the bike trail, which is where the 5k starts. The race follows the bike track, down to the adult beach entrance and back around again. It was hot for sure, but I really enjoyed the run. My timing was slower than normal as I had to stop a few extra times, due to the heat that I wasn't used to. At the end of the race they handed out Mickey medals. The ribbon around the neck said Winner on it .throughout the day people said "you won the 5k" nope, but I was a winner!! Never the less, I was thrilled to be able physically to participate and can't wait for the next one!
I met up with my family and our friends on the beach. They were just arriving and we were able to secure chairs all together. The girls had so much fun on the beach together. Later in the afternoon Grandma & DD went to the Stingray petting/feeding excursion. As well, our friend went with his oldest daughter went too! They all had a great time and was quite an experience.
Lunch at Cookies was WONDERFUL of course! I always enjoy this lunch..always! Also, a favorite of mine is the banana bread they serve. I said..they should have this in the dining rooms. SO I ran across our Head Server and I asked him if they ever serve it and he said no, but I could always request it (I had asked him so I'd know for our next cruise). Skipping ahead to dinner we had a huge bowl full of banana bread that night
I was thrilled!!
The kids played a little longer on the beach and then headed back to the ship. The See Ya Real Soon show was at 4:30 and I didn't want to miss it. My DD LOVES this show and we were going to be present for both (there is another one at 10:15pm). So, we went to the show, my DD loves to dance along with the characters. After that, we finalized our photos at shutters, picked up all 315 prints and scheduled to pick up the CD in the morning before leaving the ship.
We went to the final show in the theatre. It's always a nice recap of the trip, but sad still the same. We all know what's lingering for the next morning
Dinner our last night was at Royal Court. Nice dinner as always (including the banana bread).
The last atrium show was at 10:15, this is the last time to say goodbye to the favorite characters and princesses. It's always so sad to say goodbye! After this it was time to pack. I always have a hard time packing ahead of time so it's always a cram last minute. We were way past the requested time, but we made it ok.
Not looking forward to tomorrow

Debarkation Day:
We dread this day every time. It's always so sad. Since we had late dining, it meant that we had breakfast scheduled at 8am. We usually go to the dining room for this breakfast, but you do have the option of going to Cabanas. We like to say our goodbye's to the staff in the dining room. Generally when leaving the ship I have to carry our DD off the ship (she's 8 remember) and this time we didn't even get out of the stateroom before the tears started. I had to carry her to breakfast this time! She settled down while eating and she and DS enjoyed playing with the girls once last time. We said "See ya real soon" to Sergio and Aries, knowing that Sergio wasn't going to be on our next sailing. We headed off this ship, yes carrying DD of course. We had left our car with Park n Cruise (as I mentioned originally). We made it through security and customs very easily and waited in the designated area for the shuttle. We needed to get Grandma to the airport by 10:30 for her noon flight home. Well, this was the first time we had to wait a long time for the shuttle around 30 minutes. We were almost afraid that Grandma was going to be late. Once we finally boarded the shuttle we get stopped by the draw bridge, wonderful! We made it to the car and on our way in enough time. BUT, about 10 minutes after leaving their lot they called to say they had one of our bags. We had to go back quickly! Apparently another guest took it by accident. We had so many bags we just didn't notice. Fast forward, we got Grandma to the airport in time and of course we were sad to see her go. We headed our way into Orlando to have a brunch with my Mom and then to start our drive home. We arrived Sunday in TN and the withdrawals and depression began
It's May 9th today depression and withdrawals still here .
Hope you have enjoyed this trip report. Next time I"m going to really try to take notes, but thankfully photos help a lot!

Enjoyed the report. Would you be able to post your navigators? We sail an Eastern this fall, and though we don't have the exact same itinerary, it would be interesting to see what programs they have on sea days.
