I know, it's crazy how fast the year is going. I actually remembered in time to book our ADR's for the couple days in the World before the trip. That's about all the planning I've done so far Had to get that O'hana's reservation to try and see the Holiday Wishes fireworks show - hopefully you can still see it from inside.

Check-in is a little less than 3 months away for me, have to start looking for excursions and thinking about Palo brunch soon.

Family of three in one room, parents in another. Fantasy in Dec will be our 10th cruise, and my son (age 11) 9th cruise. We have done two cruises less than a week to say we went on the Dream, and the reimagined Magic in Feb.

2014 we will have three cruises - FEb Magic, March Dream and December Fantasy. Almost did the Wonder in Sept to hit them all in one year, but absolutely out of time off at work!

We have never done the FE exchange before, but have FE's because we would leave gifts for each other. WE also do magnets for our door for the holidays and cruises.

We would love to participate in an exchange and have even more fun!

So excited!!! Just booked our Candlelight Processional dinner package for our days before the cruise.

Welcome! Sweet birthday gift

So do you enjoy having a birthday near the holidays or do the holidays over shadow it?

I have a few nieces and nephews born around Thanksgiving and Christmas and always wondered what they'd think of it when they get older.

I don't mind it at all. My parents always made a point to keep my birthday "special" and apart from Christmas and Thanksgiving. In my mind, it is nice to have "back-to-back-to-back-to-back" celebrations (Thanksgiving, birthday, Christmas, New Year's).

that is a lot of celebrating in a short period of time.

if i had my choice i would have liked my birthday somewhere in the may-ish area, for purely selfish reasons everyone always wants to get you a present for your birthday. but sometimes i will need something that would make a good present way before my b-day so I would buy it myself. then I get "junk" for my b-day because there's nothing useful left that would make a suitable b-day gift and it wouldn't be until christmas i got something "good". (we always did small value gifts for b-days and larger items for x-mas) it's not necessarily junk, but i would get a lot of perfume, trinkets, or costume jewelry when I wear very little of any of it. i'd have been ok with them just skipping b-day and adding that money on to x-mas (or just skipped it all together), less waste.

i'm right around halloween so the candy and costumes make up for it. (always made it easy to decide a theme for parties. ) it's just a long 10 months waiting for fun... like the 3 years in between our Disney trips

Just wanted to check in and say Hello to everyone. This is our 3rd Disney cruise, 1st on the Fantasy. Looking forward to it! It'll be nice to have a vacation when the weather is cold in Mid-West.

It'll be my hubby & me and we're booked in an AFT cabin. It'll be the first time to be at the very back of the ship. I'm beginning to walk (more than I usually do) now to get ready for the cruise so that I can walk the ship from the back to the front to the back. lol

My daughter, hubby, and 3 children are also on the ship with us also. It'll be great time. My grandsons are gonna be 15, 4, and 2. One of them is celebrating his birthday on the cruise. Cruising with the grandchildren will be a blast to see how they view the ship, the big ocean, just everything. Can hardly wait.

We are also participating in the FE gift exchange, too. We did this on our last cruise and it was quite enjoyable. Well, not really, for me as I had broken my ankle 5 days before sailing and I had to be wheel-chaired with a giant cast on my leg. I LOVED making my items for everyone though. It was just rough to get around on the decks. I"m sure it'll be much easier this time and I'm really looking forward to that!!

I think on Facebook we've discussed having a meet & greet of some kind on the first full day at sea with a state gift exchange rob-your-neighbor thing. or maybe perhaps an ornament exchange. We'll be discussing that a little closer to December.

We're also going to order t-shirts for our group that says Fantasy, the date of cruise on the back. Shirts will be in blue.

I might be. We celebrate St Nicholas Day (Dec 6th) and I can see my kids waking up to their suitcases on top of their shoes with tickets to Florida.

We will see. I have a lot going on 2014 all ready, so i am not sure if I can swing it yet.

But, I have secret packed them before, it's not beneath me at all to do it again

YOU BETTER BE ON THIS CRUISE!!! We just switched to this one from the Halloween cruise. How cool would it be to meet each other still. Crossing fingers it works out but I know how busy of a Mom you are and just glad we met regardless!!!
