Fantasy Cruise - July 5, 2014

Before long we will be setting sail on a great seven day vacation. looking forward to meeting new friends on board.

Hi- we are also booked on this 7 day Western Cruise leaving 7/5/14 and we can't wait. This is my 2nd Disney cruise- we went on the Dream in 2011 to celebrate my DD 4th bday.

yay! Was this your first time on the fantasy? Can you share a few tips from your trip? This will be first time on the Fantasy and i hear its amazing too. Hurry July 2014...

So glad you had a good time. I love cruising with Disney.. Their service is top of the line. I'm so excited to board on the fantasy... I'm surprising my DH, DD and DS (we will celebrate my DD 7th bday that week) my DS (will be 4 yrs old).

I'm also excited in participating on this board as i can express my excitement with other cruisers.. This is the first time for me on this board and look forward to meeting new friends!

What itinerary did you just do? I haven't yet visited Jamaica nor Cozumel but I'm a little disappointed that some port excursions offered by disney are not intended for children under 8 yrs old.

We did Eastern. My kids are 4 and 7, and we managed to do a few fun excursions. We did the afternoon beach bash in St. Maarten and the Coral World/Butterfly Farm in St. Thomas. Next year we are hoping for more selection since the kids will be 5 and 8.

Also...Not sure how much say Disney has in the age for excursions, since they are run by companies on the island

We will also be on the July 5th cruise. This will be our 3rd Disney cruise. We will be celebrating my son's high school graduation! Has anyone started a fish extender group? My 11 year old is super excited to do this again!

Awesome! Have fun at WDW... I'll be there in 2 weeks- taking my kids on a mini vacation.

Thinking about booking this cruise tomorrow as well...went looking for this thread but it was not posted in the cruise meets yet....shows no link...went to "search" and found this.... I was like wow no one but me heading out on July 5th no that just cant be....

ok so booked this cruise in cabin # 7078. Used our DVC points OUCH and paid of one extra person OUCH! was going to book a different cheeper cabin but decided to do the verandah after all. I am going to have this thread added to the "cruise meets" so in case someone else wants to find us

I had to search for this in "search" so sure someone else is also looking for us...by the way we are Gold CC members but this will be our first on the Fantasy...only sailed on the Magic and Wonder...so we are really looking forward to being on the new ship

the FE is fun....its for anyone that wants to participate or not....you can make gifts, buy gifts for the whole family or everyone in that cabin individually. For those that want to do the FE they tell us how many in their cabin that are playing....in order to get one has to give....

You make a FE and you hang it on the cabin door....everyone playing puts their gifts inside the FE...you pick the day or days that you want to put the gifts in...I usually break it up into a couple days if there are a lot of folks playing...and I usually don't do it on the first night but on the second and third....

does this make sense?

Omg!!! Me and my best friend just booked this for our birthdays next year! My 20th and her 19th! We just got off the fantasy on Saturday and can't wait to get back on next year! Can't wait to meet everyone!!! )

I am booking this cruise in a week. We are going on the Wonder this year to Alaska and got off the Dream July 4, 2013. We sailed on the Magic twice, once the Eastern Caribbean in 09 and the second time out of NYC June of
2012. We are so excited to try the Fantasy.
