ok there are a few folks i can't find cabin numbers for, i want to have them jic they don't come to the meet so i can deliver them. so, if you are someone listed below or know their cabin number (or are travelling with them and so can pass them on) please let me know.

if you don't have an assigned cabin # yet, please let me know that as well AND make sure you take my cabin number (7562) and contact me once on board if you don't make it to the meet to get your wristbands.

Made it to Cape Canaveral! Boys were superb on the day, with two delays it ended up being almost 17 hours of travel. The little guy slept 2 hours of the 10 hour flight, but his big brother didn't and was pretty tired when we arrived (it was around 2:00AM on their body clocks). Daddy spotted us and snuck up on them at the arrivals hall in MCO. Super reunion...

And then they slept through the night, waking up at 6:00! We're really lucky this time, should be minimal jet lag based on that first night. the boys are happily playing with Daddy in the pool at Ron Jon as we speak, and I'm having some quality "someone else is on duty" time with my iPad.

mati, great to hear Sabrina's news! What a great send off.

Jamie, I'm with you, I intend to do the 5 K, but I think I'll decide on the day. I don't think I'll be stretching with you ladies, but you might see me doing laps on deck 4. (it's still deck four on the new ships too, right?).

Would anyone be interested in doing a meetup of the (roughly) 4-8 year old meet up on Sunday morning at the wake up with Disney at 9:00? It's at the D Lounge, we could meet up at the left side of the stage. Could help the little ones get to know each other a bit. What do you think?

Went into a grocery store for a quick shop and I forgot how crazy American grocery stores are, there wee probably 50 flavors of potato chips alone! Temptation here is certainly harder to resist/avoid, but it's nice to be home.

PPPSSHhhhhhh! You can't sleep the whole cruise! I hunt you down and drag you over to a Martini tasting!! That'll wake you up!!

Sadly no alcohol here. I take muscle relaxers and narcotic pain killers for my neck injury from the accident we were in July 2011 and if I wanted to drink I'd have to go without the meds for 2 days to get them out of my system. I was praying for months to feel better enough to be off of them but I can't even go a day without them yet.

But.....

If you want to drag me out to go get some soft serve ice cream I'm all over that!

Hi Kathy! We've never stayed at OKW and we are excited to stay there. We love Downtown Disney and look forward to taking the boat there from OKW.

We will drive to Port Canaveral Saturday morning - can't wait!!!!

Hi Sue! I babysat for some friends who were staying at OKW a few years ago and the rooms were huge I wish we were DVC members so we could stay there (cash price is more then we wish to spend) but we love Olivia's we go there for lunch/dinners sometimes. I love the Key Lime Tart there I am drooling just thinking about it!

What time are you heading out to Port Canaveral? Are you parking at the Port's Garage, off property, or returning a car to a car rental? We are parking at park n ride that gets good reviews here on the DIS. We plan on leaving probably around 9:30-9:45 to allow time to park and shuttle over for our 11am check in time at the port. If you are leaving around the same time maybe we will see each other on the way to the Port or could even follow each other over like a DIS caravan LOL

Good to know!! Need to sign up. I love to walk too around the ship. Did that last time with another DIS friend and hope to do it again!

My mother and I would love to have some friends to walk with around the ship on how early do you all walk? Mom was thinking of doing the 5k but she isn't sure that they would allow her to use her Cane. She can walk the distance no problem but needs the cane for support. She wants to do the Disney World 5K in January but they don't allow canes and she isn't sure she'll be ready to go without one by then so she hasn't enrolled yet.


I can totally relate to the family thing. I totally shut down last month because of it. I think I am just now (2 weeks after they have left) finally getting to normal!

I was just shocked how accustomed we have gotten to be just the two of us and amazed at how spending so much together time makes us all react to each other and situations that had we not been together would have been reacted to differently. But I am totally bummed that they are leaving as we won't see them until next year most likely. Its possible we may take a trip up for Thanksgiving but depends on airfare prices. So as stressed and as much as I look forward to the quiet time and the cruise of course, I also don't want them to leave either as they are family and we love them and will miss them.

Glad you are getting back to normal.

I spent half the work day (don't tell) looking at possible magnet pictures. I am very far behind where I was with the last cruise but still hoping to get some magnets done.

I understand, on our 2nd and 3rd cruise our door was covered in magnets because I couldn't stop making them! Everytime, I saw a magnet photo I would print one and I didn't know how to stop! But this cruise its hard because I can't find my magnets or fish extender for that matter, and I'm sure I'll find the fish extender but we are out of printer ink so we will be magnetless on the cruise I also don't want to spend money on getting ink to print them and then have the magnet grow feet and run away to someone elses door as I have heard people post that theirs were stolen. So I think just a FE will be good.

So glad you made it here safely and that the meet up with your DH went off great! Glad that your getting some down time and that the boys are getting some quality time with their dad! Enjoy the family time!

Yeah sometimes I go into the grocery stores and wonder why there are so many choices and have a hard time deciding myself. Can't wait to join you all either. Time is going so slow and fast at the same time!

Just got a call from Best Friends Pet Kennel at WDW that they have room for my sister's therapy dog JACK to be boarded there for the night of 5/18 so that my sister and brother-in-law, who moved to FL a year ago can come and stay with us at ASMu Family suites for one night before the cruise. My sis is nervous because she has never boarded JACK before, but this is a good thing. I can't have the dog in the hotel room even though he is eligible, but my BIL can go visit and walk JACK any time he wants. We will get to see Flower & Garden Friday night and they can go to Star Wars Weekend Sat AM.

That reunion must have been awesome! We'll be there Friday sometime. Staying at Country Inn and Suites. Over to Fishlips for something to eat late afternoon I guess. Can't wait to get there. My mind is on vacation mode and I still have 3 1/2 days of work.
