Just booked as a "Thanksgiving" gift! So excited! It's our first cruise EVER. We agreed that the only way we'd cruise would be the Disney way. Any thoughts, recommendations, etc would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds nice! We're doing a very similar itinerary on a RCCL cruise next month. Different private island, of course. I picked that cruise because of that interesting itinerary, so it's nice to know DCL is doing it too!

Y'all can start a new thread if one doesn't already exist, and then people can join as they book the cruise. Be prepared for low participation with the sail date being so far away.

Hello all. I had started a thread for this cruise awhile ago but don't know where it went.

We are coming back to DCL after 10 Carnival cruises. Our very first cruise ever was on Magic back in 2005 so excited to check out the new ship.

It will be just myself and DH. We are hoping to talk friends into coming as well.

I would like to participate in the FE too!!

From what I found out is we have to set it up our selves with other family on our trip. I'm definitely would like to but not sure how to start it all up. I guess when the time gets closer people will sign on.

So since we are supposed to set this up ourselves, perhaps we should come up with the best way to do it. There's an awful lot to weed through in these forums, so I'm wondering if a facebook group might be the way to go. Willing to hear everyone's thoughts.

Once we do decide how to set it up, I'd assume we'd need to exchange room numbers etc. I'm going to continue digging to figure this out. We do have a year+ !!

I started another thread to ask about the FE. LOTS of great info was posted.

Long story short:
One of us will need to be the "keeper" of the list with all the information: (ages/genders/allergy/room numbers, emails etc.) for all those wishing to join. We post the info/link here in our cruise meet, set a cut off date for signing up to join. Prior to sailing the list of participants can be emailed out to all other participants so that preparations/purchases can be made.

I think I have a handle on it now and I think I could do it.
