Fantasy 9670 metal cage

Hi, stayed in 10158 last week and loved the cabin and balcony except for the metal cage next to the balcony so we couldn't look down the side of the boat. Booked 9670 for next cruise and saw the cage thing drops down to level 9 also but not all the way. Can anyone that has been in that room say if it is low enough to block the view any? Only time it was really an issue was in Cozumel we couldn't watch the pier runners because of it

I believe you will be fine in 9670 on Dream/Fantasy.

You're right, the cage/cleaning platform does go just beyond the rooms/balconies on the side.

But being in 9670 I think you are good. You are aft 30 - 45 feet and 10 feet below the previous position. Visibility will be increased significantly.

In the pics, you can see the unit can't move farther back than it is. So if you lean over and look anything but down, you will seen the apparatus, in the distance, but nothing like 10158. In 9670 I don't feel it will be an issue compared to 10158, IYKWIM.

We stayed in this cabin last September. We never had a cage near our verandah. I'm not sure on my phone how to post pictures, but I'll try to figure it out. Great cabin. You will LOVE it.

In addition, Deck 9 midship is a great location to be in as it's close to the top deck and Cabanas and the elevator/stairs area. When I went on the Fantasy last April I stayed in room 9077 which is close to your cabin. Great location.

My grandparents stayed in 9577 which was next to 9077 but as far as i'm concerned there shouldn't be any problems. Deck 9 midship is a great location though.

Thanks! We were originally on deck 10. I switched after reading complaints about the overhang.
