LOL your weather sounds just like the weather we have been experiencing in the UK this week, since the gorgeous day we had at the weekend it has been foggy and miserable since.

Hello again everyone! This is Matt again btw

First off, welcome newcomers to the thread! Glad to have you!

So this week I've been having finals for all my classes which has not been fun. BUT in just a few short days I will be heading home from Ohio State to Cincinnati The weather here has been very sparatic! It'll be a gorgeous 65 degrees here one day, and then a terrible 41 degrees and rainy the next!

So my family and I are getting more and more excited as the summer approaches! We can't wait to see meet everyone! Hope everyone's vacation preparations are going well.

On a side note, those of you who follow NCAA basketball know its MARCH MADNESS TIME!!! GO OSU BUCKEYES!!!! lol
<--- Mickey is a Buckeyes fan too! haha

Have fun on Spring Break! I hope that your finals went well!

We are Kansas State Wildcat fans! We are actually about 5 minutes away from campus. It's pretty hard to get away from all of the purple!

We are following both the boys and girls teams. One of my DD's teammates will be playing for KState next year! It will be so much fun to watch her.

Good luck to your Buckeyes! But..... GOOOOOO WILDCATS!!!!!!!!

So sad to say but we are not going to traveling with you all on the Fantasy and need to have our name taken off the FE exchange. Our son has to have more facial surgery (took a line drive to the forehead, nose, and eye last May-thankful to say no brain injury). Believe it or not, he is back playing baseball and still pitching but doing very well. We don't want to fly that far after surgery just to be safe. We changed to the Magic out of NY so we still get to cruise!! Hope to enjoy the Fantasy someday. Have a great cruise

Awww.... I am so sorry that you all won't be joining us. You must be proud of your DS for overcoming the mental obstacle of being hit again. I know that a lot of the girls around here are starting to wear face masks while pitching. That ball comes sooo fast! (I was hit in the gut once while pitching. Never saw the ball!)

Hi all!

We just got back from spring break! We went to Oregon and Washington to visit my DB and his kids. My mom joined us too. What a great time with the family. We got to see my DB's F15 squadron fly. We went to his base and saw the planes up close. Soooo cool!

We hiked around Oregon. It was so green and pretty. We really enjoyed all of the water falls.

And then............ up to Mount Bachelor for SNOW!!!!! and SKIING!!!!! and the best snowball fight ever!

It snowed two feet while we were there. I had missed the snow so much this year and was so psyched to have so much of it! It snowed 18" over night one night (which lead to the epic snowball fight).

Such a beautiful place. Such great skiing and such great times with my family!

Although we had a great time, it's always nice to be home and see the critter's. I guess that it rained the whole time we were gone. The rains greened everything up. The redbuds are in full bloom. What a gorgeous ride home!

Now that we got our fill of snow, I'm ready for sunshine and spring time!

Spring has sprung here this week, we are having unusually high temps this week, about 7degs higher than the average, today we got about 21 degs centigrade The daffodils are flowering and everywhere is looking so much brighter.

I am now on the official countdown, a week today we are flying into orlando ready to sail away on Saturday. the cases come out of the loft tomorrow and the packing will start in earnest then it's a busy busy week before a well earned and eagerly awaited trip.

First of all, I am so sorry for your loss. It is really wonderful that you are close to your in-laws! How fun that they are traveling with you and yours!

YOu will love, love, love the cruise! It is such a fun and relaxing vacation. With as much as my kiddo love Disney, when given the choice as to which they wanted to do again... the said "CRUISE!!!!". And they have only been on a 3 day before.

Welcome! I am glad that you are joining our FE group. I didn't our first cruise because I was a bit overwhelmed, but as soon as I saw the FE's aboard, I so wished that I joined all the fun. It's great that your in-laws will be joining you. My parents also are also joining us...Great family memories.

It is spring in SoCal, but it is fairly cool, and a storm is coming our way tomorrow.

I cannot wait for spring break. It is just two weeks away. We will be visiting colleges in the Los Angeles and San Diego areas.

We were wondering if we could start a discussion about excursions. Lily wants the beach, I want something easy but informational, and Jenny wants to hike the highest Mayan ruin she can find. So, we're having a bit of problem choosing which one.

Any ideas?

Excursions..... hmmmmmm..... my own personal philosophy is to do the things you can't do anywhere else.... so, have you ever seen the Mayan ruins? That being said, have you read the excursion reviews to see if it is any good?

The one thing I wouldn't like is being stuck on a bus for several hours.
