Fantasy- 7 night Western- August 4, 2012

Finally on our way to Florida, about 3 hours behind schedule. Still hoping we can get to Jacksonville Beach at a decent hour tomorrow to spend some time relaxing. Going to spend some time in Miami on Friday. Hope everyone's travels are good!

Wow, packing is overwhelming! I'm glad I decided to take Wednesday and Thursday off. I had briefly considered working...what was I thinking?????? Glad I came to my senses.

I was starting to think that I'm the only one still at home! We leave in the morning, we will spend the afternoon and night at Art of Animation. I'm packed and ready to go!

No we are home until late Friday staying at Port Orleans. Watching the tropical storm track. Eastern carribean cruise maybe?

Is anyone concerned with the weather forecast? Or am I over reacting. We fly out tomorrow.

I've done the Eastern on the Fantasy and it was excellent. 2 full days at sea before the first port. At least on the boat we can navigate around the storm and still have fun. Imagine if you were booked at a resort in the path.

Here's to hoping things dissipate and all goes as planned. Our adventure awaits!

I was super worried at first but now I'm just excited to see where they will take us! Hoping my son and I can swim with dolphins as planned or elsewhere. Can't imagine what the port excursion desk will be like. : )

We drove down yesterday and is staying with my parents for 2 nights, they live 1 1/2 hours from the port. We drove through some severe storms on the way. If we do change course to the Eastern Carribean I am fine. Would look forward to spending the day in St. Thomas! The excitement is growing, could hardly sleep last night!

Back from California and currently unpacking, ironing and re-packing! Safe travels to everyone still in their way.

A little worried about the weather, I have vivid memories of being at Vero Beach last year watching Hurricane Irene go past. As long as we avoid the storm I don't care where they take us, I'll just be happy to be on the ship!
