I've been waiting for someone to start a thread but so far no luck, so I guess I'll get the ball rolling. My family of 6 is booked for two connecting 8Cs on the Fantasy for August 4th-11th, 2012. I would love to hear from some fellow cruisers. This will be our very first cruise ever!

My family will also be cruising on the August 4 cruise. We have only been on a 3 day Disney cruise before. It was great so we are doing the full 7 day cruise this time. We are also coming with another family. So there will be 6 of us staying in 2 rooms. Both of our boys will be 14 at the time of the cruise. Just starting to look for airfare from Chicago to Orlando. We will fly in the day before and we are planning to go to Disney World after the cruise for a few days.

Thanks for starting this Texasgirl! Count us in! Me, DH, DD - 16 and DS - 13. Can't wait! It's going to be so much fun! Went on a 3 day when the kids were 9 and 6. Not enough time at all. Went on a 7 day with my best bud. Still not enough time but getting closer.

All of us got certified to scuba this past summer, so we will be diving on our shore days. Wooooooo Hooooooo!

Hi I am so glad to hear other Disers are going to be on the cruise:cool1: This will be our 3rd cruise. 1 7-day and 1 5-day. My DH and I are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this cruise  and are leaving the kids DS19 & DD 15 at home this trip:banana: We are planning to spend a few days before the cruise at WDW. Hope everyone has a happy & healthy new year and here's to a GREAT CRUISE:woohoo::woohoo:

Thanks to Texasgirl for starting this meet. Does anyone know how we get this posted to the Cruise meets sticky?
:confused3

I was wondering the same thing.:confused3 We live in Maine and are getting ready for 20 below weather this week. We will be dreaming of the warm weather and cool drinks we will be enjoying in August:cool2:

I have added your thread to the cruise meets list :thumbsup2

Have a great cruise!

Hi everyone, so glad other DiSers are on this cruise as well, I'm already being asked by the DDs if we're doing a FE but my reply so far is 'only if we have someone to do it with'!

This will be our 7th Disney cruise and our 'farewell celebration' to DD 18 who plans to be leaving home for University in September.

We're in an inside cabin, and one of the aft verandah cabins - I was so excited to see our verandah on the float out video!!! :yay:

Look forward to meeting and cruising with you all,

We would certainly be interested in an FE as well!

Awww... my DD is 16. We have started getting a lot of info for colleges and universities. I can't believe how fast this time is going. We'll be having our senior trip before we know it. Which university is she going to? We visited Cambridge when we visited my bro while he was stationed in England.

Cool, we are in an aft too! I was excited to see our room as well!

Oh wow, it has been over 3 months since I posted so I had given up- glad to see other DISers will be on the ship. I was also excited to see my rooms (7518-an 8C-family oceanview and 7520- 7A obstructed balcony) on the floatout.

Hi! These last few years have gone so fast and now I want to spend as much time as possible with her while she is still at home... :sad1: She's still in the middle of applications so we don't know yet where she will be. Cambridge doesn't do the course she wants but it is a beautiful city. Was your brother in the military? Two RAF friends of ours have been stationed near Cambridge.

Welcome Ramule!

It's never too early to start planning a FE!!! :woohoo:

So I'm happy to co-ordinate it if that's OK with everyone - just send me a PM with your Dis name, real names, ages of children and cabin number (if you know it yet). Also let me know if any of your group have food allergies so we can avoid problems with edible goodies.

Look forward to hearing from you!!

I know... it's zooming by. Vacations are soooo treasured! Yes my brother flies F15's. He was stationed at Lakenheath (I don't know if that's how you spell it). We were able to spend couple of weeks with him when my DD was just 14 months old. Beautiful country!
