Just booked my second DCL cruise for next September and am so excited! The base price for this cruise was the exact same as the cruise we took last October, so we just had to go for it.
Last cruise we were in cabin 6568 and loved it. Mid-ship, starboard, non connecting. Unfortunately that cabin is not available for our upcoming trip. Instead we are in 6040, forward, port side, non-connecting. We really wanted a non-connecting room and this was the only one left in our category.
Question is - how much motion do you feel in the forward part of the ship? I also read that the veranda in this cabin overlooks the oversize verandas on deck 5... Is this annoying or problematic to anyone? Mostly we just sit on the veranda or stand and look straight out, so I'm thinking it should be fine, but wanted to hear any thoughts or opinions.
Thanks!!
