Hopefully, some one who's been in either of those rooms will see your post. I do know that there are verandah rooms that receive a letter from the ship telling them NOT to be on the verandah during the fireworks due to the fallout.
Personally, I don't think the view would be all that good from a verandah that low on the ship, and I'm not sure you would hear the music accompaniment, but I could be wrong.
5156 is on Port side so you won't be able to see them from that room. 5656 is on the Starboard side but I also don't think you would have much of a view.
Aside from the fireworks, another factor, which you just might to consider if you happen to be on the Western itinerary (looks like it from your signature?), is that you will be able to see the Cuban coastline for a good part of the cruise from 5156 while the view from 5656 will be mostly open water. For me, that outweighs the fireworks and nicer view of Castaway Cay since we have spent very little time on the verandah on those occasions. We tend to enjoy the verandah mostly while sailing and then it is nice to have a changing horizon to look at. That's actually the reason I picked that side for our own upcoming Western. For an Eastern cruise, I would have a very slight preference for the opposite side, not for the fireworks but for Castaway Cay. Anyway, just trying to help.
DCL tells you not to be on the balconies during the fireworks. You will receive a note that you are not allowed to be there for safety reasons, and they ask you to bring anything flammable inside your stateroom prior to the fireworks as well.

Yes, I didn't mean to imply that all verandahs on the ship are getting such a note- but you'd think that the ones where you can SEE the fireworks would get such a note. I know, we did! That would make sense from a safety standpoint.

We just stayed in 7636 on the fantasy and were able to sit out on our balcony and watch the fireworks. We even asked our stateroom host if it was ok and he said it was perfectly fine. No one received a letter on our deck
