Fantasy 2017 missing dates

Anyone know why you can't book, April 29' May 6 or May 13. Are they still finalizing dates?

They picked three of the best weeks of the year to sail. In my opinion not too cold, not too hot, not too humid, not too expensive, and not hurricane season. May is my favorite month of the year to vacation can you tell?

I was wondering this myself. Thanks for asking! Unfortunately, my OBB from this past May expires May 15th 2017 and cannot go before that as our eldest daughter is still in University. We have always taken the kids out of school for DCL, but university is a lot different. Drats! Was SO looking forward to getting our Gold bonuses as this would have been our first cruise as Gold members.

Not too expensive? That would make it three of the WORST weeks of the year to sail from DCL's perspective. You don't expect 3 weeks of drydock to happen during the summer peak travel season, or holiday time, do you?

Do you know that for sure, or is that a guess based on the age of the Fantasy? When I called to book one of those dates, the reservationist told me they were still planning special itineraries.

I know people on these boards usually know more than the Disney cast members making reservations

I was told by a source I've not yet known to be wrong + the age of the ship. They're not going to dry dock during peak summer season.
