Any recent reviews or photos of this concierge stateroom? We sail in Oct and it will be our first in concierge. My family would like to know more about this room. Thanks!

The only issue I saw with the cabin is that the window washing rig is parked to your right as you are looking out on your veranda. Some have commented that the smoke area is near there but that would only be an issue when the ship is not moving.

12528 is a cat V not a T. :)

Yes. A Cat. V looks nothing like a Cat. T. The only thing similar is the fact that they are both Concierge. Not sure, why Someone would post a bunch of huge pictures of a Cat. T for a question about a V. :confused3

Have you seen the room reports? http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cruise-new/roomreport.cfm?Room=12528

The images on the DCL site are accurate fwiw; http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/s...rge-family-oceanview-stateroom-with-verandah/

This room location is awesome IMO. Right around the corner is the elevator lobby. Catch an elevator or one deck up using the stairs to Satellite Falls/open deck 13. Also right around the corner from the main entrance to the CL lounge. You also have a door at the end of the hall that you can use to exit from your hall, just aft of your cabin. Very convenient IMO. Saves you 30 ' ~. :) You can't enter this door though.

The stateroom host does tend to park their cart just outside this stateroom for 1/2 the day ~. But that's good. You develop a rapport with said host, :thumbsup2, with almost constant access to sundries. ;)

The possible downside to this locale, as PP mentioned, is the exterior wash platform that they tend/could park just aft of your veranda. It's depressing the first couple days, then you realize it's no biggie, as you get use to it, in your line of sight. Sometimes it's parked at the most forward cat V too.

This video is from 12526 I'll guess, so you are closer potentially;

Here is a pic of a similar rig; http://www.depping-design.de/test/albums/2010_10_disneydream01/IMGP7859.JPG

You can see your cabin here in this exterior pic; http://www.depping-design.de/test/albums/2010_10_disneydream01/IMGP7873.JPG

There is the bathroom adjoining your cabin too, but 4 reports indicated they heard no noise, surprising me. :thumbsup2

HTH, and see you aboard. ;)

i concur.

isn't the smoking section still ports side? ? ? Port of currents bar on deck 13. I always felt it should be starboard though, as the stair case up from 12 to 13 is only port. Initially the rules said smoking starboard, but they changed it. Some have speculated in the past, it was so the smokers were not seen from the terminal in pc. Lol. ? ? ?

Thanks, Bear. I have seen much of what you posted but thanks for reposting(so I can see it all in one place). I guess I was hoping to see actual pictures of this room. My kids are finally getting excited and now asking more questions.

We are on the same sailing, so I will see you aboard;)

All the cat V's look the same. I lied,.... the two most forward V's are decorated differently. They match the cat R's. But the pics on the DCL site are your cabin. They all look the same. No reason to search for your specific cabin IMO, as they all look the same. The only difference is who is sailing forward or backwards as they sail asleep in bed. :lmao:

All cabins generally rotate, .... every other one, .... with the bed facing direction. :)
So some cabins if you are asleep, you are sailing head first, others feet first.
Some prefer a direction. Ususally it's indistinquisable unless you encounter large sea states. Then you begin to realize your preference. :lmao:

12528 is sailing feet first as laying on the bed, which is better IMO. :)

HTH, and don't hesistate to ask any other questions you may have.

:goodvibes

Bringing this thread back as we just flipped to room 12528 and I was looking for any recent reviews on this room/location. Thanks!
