We are leaving a little one at home with Grandma, and want her to be able to reach us at anytime day or night if she needs.

See I can add an international plan to our cell phones; hoping I understand that correctly that our phones will then work at sea.

Was also thinking of signing up with a wifi plan so she can reach us through FaceTime too.

I also have the number the ship gave us...does that go directly to the wave phones we carry around?

Anyone have any previous knowledge of the ship wifi plans/cell service while at sea?

I don't know the answer to any of your questions as I have not needed these services...you may find more experienced help on the main message board where more folks may have tried to Skype using the wifi or use their cell phones at sea (still not sure how that will work if there are no cell towers...)...if you hear crickets here, post the same question on the main board...

Late to party. Just booked. Son age 8 loves baseball (and sports). Daughter age 6 loves crafts, coloring, games, princesses. Don't need to trade presents or anything, just looking to see if anyone here might match up for a potential kid's friendship for the week for putt-putt, kids club time, pool time, etc.

I have an almost 8 year old son who would love someone to hang out with!

Just to clarify, last names aren't contained in any DISboards info we can access....you just have to hope that folks will private message you or post the last names here...
this is one of the huge differences between the big social media site and DISboards

I shopped for my FE goodies yesterday. Since I never heard back from MoMoney, Disnymom or KC2500, I have removed them from my list. If you three happen to log on last minute to participate, please do NOT include us in your list.

As for steelcitycruisers, flynthruclouds, katekins13 (both cabins), pin cruiser, and vallcopen, we are looking forward to some FE fun!

Thanks for saying hello! Unfortunately, it seems that I should have removed a few more users who hadn't logged into the DISboards for awhile....you can see (in this link http://www.disboards.com/threads/fa...-with-the-mouse.3436114/page-31#post-56557732 ) that I posted the last log in for folks so that everyone could decide for themselves whether they are cruising with us...but I am pretty sure Momoney74 (the person without a room number) is not...
I apologize for the missed opportunity to create accurate lists...
I won't be replacing any group members or changing any lists to minimize the challenges for folks who have personalized their gifts...

We didn't remove anyone except folks who hadn't checked in since February or before...so you are still in the Christmas Cruisers list...what I did was offer a last-log-in date so people could decide for themselves whether folks were cruising....while one person in your group decided you might not be on our cruise, I doubt everyone did...I know I am bringing gifts for two cabins that are iffy

As for MoMoney74, we are guessing she isn't cruising since she hasn't been on the boards in many many months and never offered a room number...hard to participate without that...

Hope this makes sense...
