Fantastic Dining Package for February

after I heard that that the schedule for Fantasmic had been released, I was excited to finally book F! Dining package. However, I still can't! The CM I talked to on the phone, really client give me very much information, but I thought smart Dis-ers might know something

I just did a few hours ago but have some other questions some of you might be able to answer. Also, I made my reservation online via searching "Fantasmic Dining Package." We got a reservation time for 2. We figured that's a really big meal and we usually only eat one big meal or two quick service meals and supplement with pretzels and popcorn... YUM

Anyways my question is.... I've done fantasmic a million times, but never done the dining plan. It's my sister's birthday that day so we decided we wanted to eat somewhere special and found the dining plan. Through reading some reviews I have found that some people say you can only do select menu items when using the F! DP. Is this true? If so does anyone know the dining options for Melrose? We're picky eaters so we just like to plan ahead of time. We will not be using the DDP credits.

I have done the F! DP multiple times with and without the DDP. You order from the regular menu: appetizer [when we went in June of this year,flatbreads were considered an appetizer - yum], entree, non-alcoholic drink, BUT you are served a selection of mini-desserts. That is the only difference - you don't pick a full sized dessert of your choice. Honestly, the desserts were nothing special, but the flatbread and steak with macaroni and cheese were excellent. Well worth the price of the package.

Thank you for clearing this up for me! I felt sure disney would list somewhere if it were a limited menu. This is why I HATE trip advisor. Way too many people who have no idea what they're talking about get on their and post horrible things.
