Fantasmic ??

We will be at WDW the week of Thanksgiving. We were planning to see Fantasmic the Tuesday of that week. I had originally planned to do the dinner package. We have 2 small boys and don't want to wait a long time in line. However, I just saw on the posted hours that there are two shows, at 6:30 and 8:30. With two shows, is the dinner package really necessary?? Which show would be better, as far as lower crowds, if there are 2 shows??

I haven't been during Thanksgiving, but the 2nd showing is always less crowded and therefore has less of a line. I doubt the package would be necessary. (But I would still schedule the package, just in case the 2nd showing is cancelled. Cancel the package later, when its closer to your trip.)

The second showing crowds are much smaller. This is our choice as we wil not do the dinner package and seat selection is much better. a great show, so please try to see it.

I was wondering where you found the hours for the show? the only place I saw on this board only had park hours, at least for in Jan. when we are going. I know it's early but I am becoming obsessive way ahead of schedule( lol) Thanks

And don't forget: seating for the Dinner Package is way to the right of center in the amphitheater.

Thank you for your responses. Looks like we are going to pass on the dinner package. My two boys eat like birds, so I didn't really want to spend the money. We will just watch the 2nd show.
