Is it really that hard to get a spot to see Fantasmic these days? I see so many posts about the Fantasmic Dining Packages now I'm wondering if we should have gotten one.

We haven't seen the show in maybe 8 years. Our last few trips we skipped it. The last time we saw it I was in a wheelchair because I broke my ankle the night before our trip. So our view was pretty incredible from the front. I don't know if I can go back to being in the back. Lol.

It's too late to book a package at this point but maybe for next year.

I don't think it's that hard. I've had great success getting 2nd row spots after fireworks. The key is to not join the massive crowd in front of River Belle Terrace but to go further back towards Haunted Mansion or try to find a spot on the bridge above pirates. 1st show can be a bit crazy but you can still get a similar spot with like 1.5-2 hours wait.

We used to do this and I didn't know if it was still possible. Things have changed so much at DL.

The dining packages are the only way I can do the show now, won the auto-immune lottery. If I am having a bad day the joint pain makes standing in place really bad. I do better constantly in motion, so genie+ already added to our package.

I totally hear you. I have two auto-immune issues. I totally hear you on the standing in place thing. It hurts. It's worse now than our last trip 4 years ago. So that is part of why I was wondering about a spot to sit for Fantasmic.

We have genie+ already purchased and the Plaza Inn package for the parade. So, we are covered there.
