I know the Rivers of America are going under a major renovation and wont be back up until May. But has there been any talk I may have missed about when they will bring Fantasmic back after the refurb is over?

Don't know if it's true, but I just read on Mousesavers newsletter that Fantasmic! will be closed until 5/26

Who knows what is going to happen. With crossed fingers it will be open earlier then you can catch it too. That would be amazing if they could hurry up and finish the refurb on the rivers a little earlier then expected.

Rivers of America (Disneyland) closed through 5/6/10 for a major refurbishment. All attractions requiring the use of the river will also be closed.

Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes (Disneyland) closed through 5/6/10 for refurbishment.

Tom Sawyer Island (Disneyland) closed through 5/6/10 for refurbishment.

Sailing Ship Columbia (Disneyland) closed through 5/6/10 for refurbishment.

Mark Twain Riverboat (Disneyland) closed through 5/14/10 for refurbishment.

Fantasmic! (Disneyland) closed through 5/27/10 due to major refurbishment of Rivers of America.

We will be in DL region end of May, but doing LL that day. Is it possible to get a ticket JUST to enter DL to see Fantasmic? Or do we all have to pay for a full day?

With the exception of convention tickets, partial day tickets are not available.

If it's closed through May 27 (a Thursday) then it will be scheduled to reopen Friday May 28 for Memorial Day weekend. They don't start showing it nightly until mid June usually.

I am so happy they updated that dragon. It will be awesome to see all the newer effects of the show. It wasnt a matter of "IF" they were bringing it back, it was a matter of "WHEN"!
