I was looking at the Disneyland website calendar, and it shows no showings of Fantasmic on Labor Day weekend! Isn't LDW a busy one? I figured the rest of the week would be slow with no extra fireworks and Fantasmic, but the Fr/SA/Su?!? Or is this an error?

If you look closely at September, you will see that no entertainment is scheduled. The reason is that DLR has not yet posted the Sept entertainment schedule. Only the park hours.

it shows the fireworks at 9:25pm on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of Sep, but no fantasmic! Everytime I am able to go to DLR, there is no Fantasmic! And it's my work schedule that gets me every time! I would be willing to face bigger crowds to see F!, I just have a hard time getting off work! I ADORE this show at DL, not so much at DS/MGM, in fact, even if it's showing at WDW, we usually just skip it! Once you have seen the DL version, it's not woth the time to se the WDW version!

Oh, you are right. But it is suspicious that RDCT is the only thing listed for DL. No parades. No Fantasmic. No JTA. Etc. This cannot be right, and it means that the schedule has not been completely uploaded. I would not worry about it. They will show Fantasmic that weekend.

fantasmic does go in to referb twice a year once in the early parts of the spring and in the fall...

Actually, not anymore. It did just have a long refurb while Pirates Island was being built. And during the 50th, it was running at least every weekend the whole time. It actually hadn't had a refurb since before the 50th. I would expect it to be running Fri, Sat, and Sun at least for many months to come. It's just that DL is slow to update entertainment schedules online.
