Fantasmic with FP

We are going to be in the parks July 4-8 and hope to see Fantasmic. My husband is hoping to just do FP instead of the meals. Does anyone have pictures from the FP viewing section? Any tips on how to get the best spots we can (I know we would have to show up really early, but where would we head from the holding area?

This is the view from where I stood last night in the FP area. I arrived around 8:15 for the 9pm show and was along the rail behind a planter.

I think I read you can get a FP for Fantasmic, and that FP doesn't impact other FP's?? What time do those typically run out by?

Correct, the shows (F! and WoC are disconnected). Typically FPs for the first show run out about a hour to hour and a half after opening, then they start distributing for the 2nd show and those usually run out about a hour and half to two hours after that.

The day we will be at DL will be a Magic morning so a 7am start. Do FP for F! become available at 7am or 8am when the park officially opens? Thank you

8am when the park opens as of now. The distribution is in Frontierland which is not open during MM/EMH. However there are rumors that F! will eventually be available on maxpass which could change that.

To the left of the Mark Twain river dock. You can’t miss them as you walk to the dock. They are the portable FP machines.
