Fantasmic with 2 and 4 year olds?

Will they be too scared to do Fantasmic? too loud?

It all depends on your children specifically.

I dont think it will be too loud. There are a few parts with a loud bang but really it's not that loud of a show.

However, there are some scenes where they may in fact become scared.

I saw a little girl about 4 years old recently being held by her father with her hands over her ears because she was scared and didnt like the scary music playing.

It's something that you and only you can determine for your children specifically. If you don't really know how they will react you may want to try to sit at the back of the theatre just so it's easier to get up and leave if you need to.

I think they'll be ok but it may kick them up a little. You just never know do you?

Yes, it's too hard to say how your kids will react.

It can be loud and dark and there are villians in the show.

I have a 5 and 8 year old who love this show but my 5 year old did cry a little when she was 2 and covered her ears.
Since then though they both love it.

I took my 2 & 4 yr old too it in 2003. It was a bit loud, but overall they loved it. They are both looking forward to it this year!!!

I took my DD last month, she's almost 2 1/2. She did get a little scared and climbed into my lap when the snake and dragon tried to hurt Mickey Mouse, but she was fine. The show isn't very loud. She kept pointing to the dragon and the witch saying "Bad dragon. Bad witch." She still says it when we're at home, "Bad dragon, hurt mouse." She really enjoyed seeing all the characters at the end of the show.

Like the others have said, you know your children best. If they scare very easily you may want to skip it. We really enjoyed it!

My son was scared to death when the dragon cought the water on fire. We were halfway up in the center, and could really feel the heat coming from it. That was really the only part he had trouble with. When the fire was out, he was fine.
