We have the dining package reserved for the first and only show for Fantasmic. I was hoping to catch the 6:00 Indiana Jones Stunt show- would that leave enough time to get over to the 7:30 Fantasmic and get seats in the dining reserved section? Assuming slow to medium speed walkers?

You should be fine with that. The earlier the better. I recommend 45min-1 hour prior to showtime to get in among the first groups of people and have the best choice of seats.

On busy nights usually about 30 min prior the dining area is pretty packed. Then as time gets close to showtime they often open up all areas to everyone. You should have plenty of time to get there, but I would just head straight there after Indy

Thanks CAS239!

Just to be clear and to keep things straight, "Fantasmic Dining Package seating" is not "VIP Seating."

The dining package seating used to be way over to the right and you had to enter via a separate pathway near the front of the park. The last time we did the package we walked into the main Fantasmic! entrance and were seated in a middle section. I think you should be fine with the timing, depending on how busy the park is that day.

Sorry, but I don't think CAS has figured correctly.
The Indy Stunt Show can run for nearly 40-45 minutes.
That means a 6:45-ish exit, then a substantial walk through DHS.
So, say, arrival at the Fantasmic! gates at about 7PM.
That is about the time when the greatest number of guests would be trying to enter the F! theater.

That's exactly the problem.
I don't think Goldys4 will have "plenty of time to get there."
I'd not be comfortable or confident attempting to enter the F! theater at about 30 min. before show-time.

Just getting to the actual F! theater seating by walking in from the F! gate (it's a VERY long ramp) in what will likely be the heaviest guest arrival time is "iffy."

Will Goldys4 make it? Maybe.

But, if seeing that particular F! show is IMPORTANT, I'd dump the Indy show (or sit in a place where you
can duck out early, by 6:30-ish) and hightail it to the F! entrance ASAP.

Indy runs 40-45 min? I've seen it plenty of times but I was thinking it was 30 min. I figured if it starts at 6, out at 6:30, get to F! at 6:45.

With Indy running 40-45 min then yea I'd say that would be cutting it close

Thanks for the replies everyone- Unless they change show times for October, I think we will skip the Indiana Jones Stunt Show- I don't want the family to miss Fantasmic!

Sorry about that Robo, I saw it referred as that on the official Disney website so I thought that's what it was called. I'm still pretty new to this planning stuff and it can be a little overwhelming with all the different names for things!

I wouldn't chance it.

Last few times they have let anyone sit in that section earlier than I think they should, especially if there is still seating in the general seats.
