Hello

We are going to Hollywood Studios on a Tuesday in late April. Crowds are around a "5" and it is a recommended park both on easywdw and touring-plans.

We have a large extended family group of 12 (age 6 to 75).

We will be going to HS at Rope drop and will hit all the headliners.

My thinking is that we will leave the park around 1:30 and return to our resort for some R&R (staying nearby at WyndhamBC).

I think we want to return to HS to see Fantasmic - never been to it and it sounds great.

I don't want to do the dinner and Fantasmic package - too late to get a ressie and I think we'd rather eat at WBC.

Should I try to get SDFPs for the show, when we are at the park earlier in the day?
Do FP+s help with Fantasmic?
Or, should we just get to HS and try to grab seats - how early do we need to be?
I'm sure we want seats and don't want to stand.

Thanks!

1. Sure. (They distribute so MANY of these FP+, that your chances of getting them as a 4th or 5th FP of the day are very good.)

2. Depends. You will have access to MOST of the theater with a FP+, but only about HALF of the theater without a FP+.

3. With or without a FP+, I recommend that you arrive 45-60 minutes before showtime.
That nearly assures seating, and likely a choice of very good seating.

You will be seated in the theater for most of that wait-time and there is a "pre-show" (such as it is) that helps pass the last half-hour of time.

You can also bring in snacks and/or visit the in-theater concession stand, if you like.

We love F!
