Does anyone have any info on the special Fantasmic! seating / snack thing? DO they require a CC when making a reservation? Is it worth it just for the seating?
Thanks in advance!

Full payment is required, so yes you would need a credit card. The balcony is $59 per person, and includes a dessert buffet. The riverside seating is $59 for adults and $49 for children, it also includes dessert. My understand is, the desserts on the balcony are more upscale- cake, cheese cake, etc. The riverside are more finger food type- cookies, rice crispy treats, etc. Both inculde beverages.

The thing that really makes it "worth" it is not having to spend hours holding a spot before the show. We did the balcony a few years ago (ok, about 10 years ago when it was still $35 a person!). The view was good, but I do like sitting down on the ground, river side, where you can feel the heat of the fire and spray of the water. That is missing on the balcony. ON the other hand, its really special to be one of 21 people out of 60,000 in the park that gets to sit in special seats!

I just booked my family in last Friday for April 18th. I thought that with less then 30 days we would not be able to get tickets for a group of 5. It is a Spring Break week but they had all 5 weeknights avail. for the 10:30 show. They did take my credit card and pretty much told me the tickets were mine, w/out a chance for a refund.....even if the show is cancelled they will try to get you in on another night of your stay before they will refund the money.

It has been quite a few years since we sat up there.....back in the old days where my DH would get up really early and go try and get the tickets each morning we were there......much nicer this way! It is my DH's birthday on the 17th and it is our princess: DD's first trip to Disneyland.....she will be six months old! Our DS who is 10 has sat up there quite a few times!!!

We found it to be very enjoyable out of the masses and there was no rush to leave. We even bought a piece of art from the gallery while we were up there. Like hlbtimes2 said "very special".

Having done both, I can honestly say that either one was well worth the price if only for the fact that we didn't have to wait at least 2 hours for a good seat. One thing I really liked about the riverside seating was that you could really see the characters up close and the view of the fireworks afterwards was at a better angle than that of the balcony.

Does anyone think there is a chance to still get seats for April 23rd? :confused3

Kathy

I think there is a chance, especially if there are two showings that night and you are willing to take seats for the later show. Call and give it a try. I got my tickets for four people with less than three weeks.

I booked premium (riverside) seating for my family last week, and we're going on April 8th. Of course, balcony was sold out -- but you do have a good chance for premium seating.
