Would someone let me know where the Fantasmic Dinner Pkg. seats are? They used to be to the right but I heard recently that now they are the center seats. Is the dinner pkg. worth it?? :confused3

Yes, they are the two center sections of the amphitheater. If you don't want to arrive an hour early for the standby seating nor at least 45 minutes early for Fp seating, then the dinner package is worth it for the best viewing of Fant.

If you don't care where you sit, what is the latest you can show up if it's not a peak crowd time?

Without Fp, you'll need to show up 45-60 before showtime. As soon as the right-side Standby sections fill, remaining Standby guests are held in the entry plaza and only enter after the Fp+ entry window closes. Then Standby fills in the left-side Fp+ sections.

Surely the arena does not fill to capacity every night. Does it?

When there are two shows, the crowd is very light at the second show. But, when there is only one show, you'll see guests lining up well before they open the gates... and the gates open at least one hour before Fant.

Right in the center! I say it was totally worth it but I was also with my family which spanned 3 generations and 2 out of the 3 generations wouldn't want to stand for 60+ minutes at the end of the evening. We got there, had our pick of seats, got the kids cotton candy and we all got a refreshment and I had fabulous centered shots with my DSLR :) Was a great end to an evening for all! Plus Mama Melrose lunch was fabulous!

There were 3 sections when I went in June. The very center and the two to the right of it. FP+ was all sections to left of dining and standby was all sections to the right of dining.

I highly recommend dinner at the Brown Derby for the package!

Keep in mind that with the triple waterscreened amphitheater seating, almost every seat is a good seat. Exceptions being the close up front rows which can get doused with water depending on strength and direction of the winds. Might be nice on a hot summer night, but otherwise.....

We went to the late show on June 1 and arrived about 10 minutes before showtime. The stadium was less than half full.

Our seats were in the best standby section, about half way up. The equivalent of the 40 yard line at a football game.

fast passes were available right up until showtime.

We usually show up 30 mins before the show and have never had any trouble getting a spot. There are no real "bad" spots for Fantasmic
