Fantasmic/Restaurant Timing?

Ok I booked an 11am "Fantasmic" lunch with H&V... It has the 1st show marked on the reservation.

I also booked Sci-Fi at 5:20pm for dinner (NO trip to HS is complete w/o that place for my family!)

Will we make the 8:30pm showing that night?

I think so...I usually allow between 75 and 90 minutes for a TS meal; two hours if you really want to be safe.

You should make the 8:30 showing without any problem, but the tickets you get for special reserved seating from your Fantasmic lunch can only be used for the first show because that's the only show they issue them for. If you want to use the tickets, you have to go to the first show, but if you don't mind open seating without the tickets, the second show will work out fine for you.

See this is where I'm confused... there's only one show... park closes at 8 with the show at 8:30pm. Does that mean with the lunch I get preferred seating for the only show at 8:30?

Yep. At least that is how it worked for us in Jan 2014. We did a late lunch and the waitress gave us the passes. Overall it was a pretty smooth process.

Can you do H&V at lunch for Fantasmic now ? I thought only for dinner there ? If someone could clarify this...it would help me too because as of now I am planning H&V for lunch then Mama Melrose for dinner so that we could get the passes...I might change some ADRs up if I can ... thanks !

I searched for restaurants in DHS for lunch on the date I wanted and one of the returns was the "Fantasmic Dinner Package"... I picked 11:00am at H&V... then it shows up in MDE as "Hollywood & Vine Lunch Fantasmic 1st Show"...which works for me because Sci-Fi is a must for my family, and because we have never seen Fantasmic, now *hopefully* we will get some good seats!
