Fantasmic Refurbishment?

I'm currentely planning my honeymoon. My fiancee and I will be spending the first four nights of it at Disneyland (May 7th-11th). We have only been to disneyland once, while we've been to the world countless times. I just looked on the disney calendar and it says that fantasmic, splash mountain, alice in wonderland and a number of other things will be closed during our stay. Is this completely accurate? Also, when do these rides close? I'm unsure where to look. Thanks!

The latest info seems to be it will re-open in late May.

yeah thats a total bummer...I love fantasmic more than anything and I canceled my trip for next month and May because I cant see it...so Im going this weekend which is the last weekend it will be showed and then I will go again in June when it reopens again...I totally plan my trips around Fantasmic

I'll be there the 2nd week of March. I was totally bummed too. Last March weahter cancled the one Fantasmic we could see on that trip. I have seen Fantasmic in WDW but was looking forward to seeing DL's

I do the same thing. We plan every trip so we can see Fantasmic! at least once. However I probably wouldn't go if I couldnt see Fantasmic! Like Thursday for instance.

What is fantasmic?

Fantasmic is a fireworks and character driven show which they put on on the Rivers of America about opposite of the Disney Gallery. It's a good versus evil show, with some pretty cool special effects (especially at WDW).

What is fantasmic?

Banzai gave a good summary of Fantasmic. It has really cool original music, with lots of traditional Disney tunes mixed in, a projection system onto spraying water that is hard to describe but will leave you wondering "how in the world did anyone think this up?" It is really a fabulous show and if you visit DLR, you have to take the time to see it.
