Fantasmic questions

Hi all,

Does Fantasmic show every night? We wondered because we're going in low season, and sometimes the park closes pretty early. We were looking at getting the dinner package. If it's an EMH night, I assume it would show before EMH? And would the people booking the dining package know when it was showing (I would assume they would have to know)?

Would you bother getting a dining package in September, or are the crowds manageable without one?

Fantasmic runs every night at 8:00pm and sometimes has two shows in the summer or crowded times. Usually, a 10:30 show.

The crowds in late September are not bad. It is usually rainy and humid, so the parks are not as crowded, plus many will not pull their children out of school.

I do not know much about the dinner packages because we are not fond of any of the restaurants in MGM. We use counter service for that park.

If you use counter service. Get to Fantasmic about an hour/hour and a half before start and bring treats.

Laurajean, is the time right even in September? I could swear that when we went in January, the park closed at 6, but that was a year and half ago, so I don't rely on my memory too much.

I've wondered about snacks there - thanks for the suggestion. I didn't know if they would be allowed inside. I wonder if you could bring enough snackies to count as dinner (we don't eat very much) and just eat it while you were waiting?

Yes, Fantasmic! does show every night (weather permitting).

Fantasmic doesn't always show every night. Last Jan. it was only showing three times during the week we were there. Of course its earlier too and I believe it started when the park closed.
