Fantasmic Question

We have tickets for the 10:15 showing of Fantasmic. I was told to pick the tickets up at Guest services, then check in "in front of the Haunted Mansion". HUH?
Can somebody clarify, please, about where and when I should check in. I've never done the reserved seating and I'm confused. Plus, I'm so visual it's difficult without a picture that says "go there" !

I wish I had a picture to help but it is almost right across the path from the entrance to the HM que. It is next to a snack cart. If you remember this it won't be hard to find, because if you can get close enough to see the HM entrance gate you will be able to see the check in or at lest the food cart next to it.

in front of the HM....yes...there is a Churro Cart there...just behind and to the left of it by the stairs down towards the ROA.
Get there a bit early (around 6:30 or so)so you can select the seats you want, or just show up before show time and get whatever seats are left over....both shows check in at the same time...
Then you can go off and do whatever you want until about 1/2 hour before your show time..
go to your seats and enjoy your desert tray and beverages...along with the show (hopefully starring Murphy)

the line starts forming around 6:30 down the steps near the churro cart.
They start setting up their podium and stuff around 7pm. Then they will start taking seating reservations and checking you in. They start a bit early some times...
But if you wait until 8pm, the center seats for your late show will already be spoken for....
early bird catches the worm...

THANK YOU! So do I ASK for front and center seats or are they assigned to first come, first serve order (first 1, then 2, etc.?)

(And I was thinking it was kind of a stupid question...I certainly want good seats!)

You get to choose your own seats based on what is left when you check in. You can just ask them for what they think is the best available at that point, or choose your own. Some people want front, some back, etc.
