we love fantasmic as we cant get enough when we go to DL. We are going to see it on the December 12th ... I know it was down for a refurb and is back up an running again... is there anything new they added to the show? just curious.. Thanks :wizard:

It is back up and running (F, St, Sn only I think). It is the same show, but the water curtains are new and the images seem sharper (to me anyway).

LOVE Fantasmic!

I haven't seen Fantasmic recently, but I've heard ... :goodvibes

Last spring they added improved lights -- the lighting on the Mark Twain Riverboat is better. :wizard:

This fall they added new digital HD projectors -- the images are now larger, and are clearer and sharper. :wizard:

During the refurb planned for early '09, there's talk that they're going to have a new dragon for next summer. :wizard:

HTH :earsboy:

Thanks for the reply’s I am really looking forward to it cant wait to go 8 more days and we will once again be experiencing the awesomeness of it

My daughters are 4 and 2 and we never saw Fanatsmic at WDW and were wondering about seeing it this coming Sunday. Is it scary for them with the villains? Is it geared towards oder kids and adults? HELP?

We have two girls, ages 3 and almost-6. This trip was the first time our older daughter finally enjoyed the show...she was always scared before so we never made it through the full show with her. Our younger daughter hates loud noise so she just put her hood up and turned over in her stroller during the loud villain parts of the show, but she did the same thing all throughout the beautiful fireworks show so for her it was really just about the noise and she wasn't scared by the images.

 We are new to SoCal and have the SoCal AP's!!! We try to get to DL every Friday night. This weekend we will not be going as we have other plans BUT  where exactly do they have the Fantasmic Show at the LAND??

It's at/on the Rivers of America.

The Mickey part is on Pirate's Lair (formerly Tom Sawyer's Island).
