Fantasmic question

We are planning on heading to fantasmic around an hour or so before showtime and was wondering how long Is it? The park closes a half hour before the show on the night we are going. Does that mean all the snack stands will be closed as well? I wanted to use up some snack credits after the show.

The show is just under a 1/2 hour. The park may close but, the park also plans itself around the completion of Fantasmic. After it closes, the path that most guests take to the exit will have plenty of things open.

There are snack stands (pretty good ones) INSIDE the Fantasmic! theater.

We like to eat our evening meal while waiting for Fantasmic! to start.
You can bring in items from the counter-service places in MGM, or choose something from concession stands at the rear of the theater serving "baseball stadium-type" food and drinks. Yes, even beer, sold strictly ONE-at-a-time, one-only-to-a-person, so a single person can't go and buy beer for other members of a group... all guests wanting to buy a beer must be present in-person at the counter.
We have a hot dog, maybe a pretzel, later some popcorn or cotton candy (Disney Health Food).

If you are seeing the second show of Fantasmic! (like the 10:30 one), you do not need to be in line that early. We recently walked to MGM after seeing Illuminations at EPCOT. My family went on ToT, I got in line for Fantasmic! It was already a really big crowd waiting (I thought), but there were two sections on either side of the theater that were completely empty even when the show started. The cm's told me I could save my family seats, so I did.

I've never been on the ddp, so I can't say for sure, but
they ARE "official" WDW snack stands.

You can use a DDP snack credit wherever there is a soda, popcorn, or frozen treats sold and they definetly sell all of that and more in Fantasmic.
