I am sure I will have lots of questions before my trip in May with my Mom (53 yo stroke patient who is wheelchair bound). Thanks in advance for putting up with me.

What is the seating like for wheelchairs in Fantasmic? I normally do the Fantasmic dinner package, but I'm not sure that this is a good idea given that we have a wheelchair in the party this time. I don't like to wait for 2 hours, but my mom will love the show. Any ideas?

There is wheelchair accessible seating at the top of the theatre, in a roped off area, with a lmited amount of bench seating for people accompanying the guest in the wheelchair. You won't have to fight any crowd for those seats, just ask for assistance from CMs at the regular entrance. There are also accessible seats in front, but you are more likely to get wet there.

I hope you have a lovely time! Feel free to ask questions, and take a look at the FAQ - there is a link in my signature, below. :)

As Teri said, there is nice accessible seating at the top of the theatre. It's very easy to get to, and, like most seats in that theater, they have a great view. Just remember to get there early, because even the accessible seats tend to be gone at 30 minutes prior to showtime.

Enjoy your trip!

Leia's Mom, they are having a problem with the server right now, I hope that the FAQ is back online soon! Sorry about that!

As teri and Wade said, the wheelchair/accessible seating is in the top row. There is room for some of your party to sit with you and the next row is also for members of your party. We have been there at Easter time when it was very busy. They were still seating wheelchair parties a few minutes before the show began, but I would still get there early. Otherwise you take a chance of not getting a seat and it's much harder to get thru the crowds the closer you get to show time.

We've used the dinner package 3 times and got to the "special" entrance about 40 min before show time and didn't have aproblem with h/p seating. This was once in March and twice over T'giving week. The CMs in charge of the h/p seating are very good about not allowing non h/p parties to sit there.

We have gone to Fantasmic with & without the dinner package. I recommend the dinner package with large groups, with children, with someone who cannot stand & wait in long lines, etc. On our last trip the Studios did not have an ECV availalbe when we got there about 2 p.m. We did the dinner, & I walked up the hill to the seating area. I presented my GAC to a CM & was allowed to sit in the handicapped section. I am not supposed to do a lot of steps. I have always had the nicest CMS helping me at Fantasmic. The CMs were very watchful to make sure the seats for handicapped & their guests were available for these guests.
