It's been over a year since I've seen Fantasmic, so help me out here. It's just me and my sis on this trip:

I've seen people mention sitting behind a light pole (I think) and then they raise up when the show starts and you have a clear view.Tell me about this please.

Also, if we see the 10:30PM showing of Fantasmic (we'll have just watched the Fireworks), should we go straight there to catch a seat? Will it be as crowded as the earlier show?

Thanks folks!:thumbsup2

There are light poles that come up out of the ground. They are raised high up so the actual lights are not in your way, but if you sit behind it, your view could be cut in half by the pole the lights are on.

Yes - but you will have to navigate the crowd. You won't be able to go through the Adventureland entrance but should be able to go in through Fontierland. The crowds for F! are usually lighter at the later show, but there will be people who watched the fireworks from there or not at all and are already in place in front of the River's of America. IMO, it's easier to do both fireworks and F! in the same night doing it this way, rather than F! first then trying for fireworks. It's also a lot easier for two adults to manuver than a family with a stroller, so you should be able to get there and get a spot. It has worked for DH and I! :goodvibes
