I know I asked a similar question about this before but I am in a dilemma of what I should do for my upcoming trip with my awesome family. I have few hundred bucks I saved for this trip that I wanted to use for special thing. Now I am wondering if I should just save that money for food and souveniors.

So should I,

a. Get F! Premium Viewing Tickets
b. Take a Holiday Tour
c. Order a Gift Basket
d. Save the money for Souveniors and Food.

I know it's all worth it but it is expensive. Any suggestions?

c, it too fleating.

d. It is more nessecary, at least the food.

b. It may be a good idea, would the whole group like the tour and appreciate it?

a. Not a bad option.

Yeah it's pretty much downed to premium viewing or saving the money.

Don't think we will be doing the tour and gift basket is little too expensive.
So between Fantasmic premiem viewing and Souvenior/food money, what do you guys think I should do?

Fantasmic priority seating is sooooo worth it. Did it two years ago and will do it again in December for sure!

I guess it depends on how much you really like Fantasmic. My family thought it was ok but we would much rather spend our money on something else over premium viewing. It has to be what is right for your family. I personally would take the tour or save it for souviners.

We love fantasmic and it is a different experience from the seating oppossed to the asphalt and concrete. My butt just can not handle it anymore.

Premium viewing is so worth it. I would never in a million years want to to try to hold seats for 4+ hours for F. I did the premium viewing while we were there a couple of weeks ago. My daughters thought it was so cool to be treated as a VIP and we walked up at 8:00pm stood in a short line picked our seats, we had front roll seats and then came back at about 8:45 sat down to wait and while we waited a nice attendant brought us whatever we wanted to drink and our dessert trays... this was our first time seeing F so it was definately a special treat!

How much does it cost? We dining at Ariels Grotto and booking premium seating for World of Color. Double thinking should we get Fantastmi tickets as well.

I booked the Premium viewing just yesterday for the first time... A good friend of mine recomended, and went so far as to pay for it!
We will be doing this for the first time, on Nov 25th!
Can't wait!

I think I already know the answer to my question, but can you get an AP holder discount on premium viewing for the show?

I think the premium viewing for fantasmic would be good but then it depends on how many times you have been to DL and if you have seen fantasmic or not before and if you have been many times do you really need more souviners?? It really depends on what your family wants. I would take a family poll and then make a final decision.

You should check out the Fantasmic! Superthread - Or Everything You Need To Know About Fantasmic at Disneyland that HydroGuy have created. It will tell you everything you need to know about F! at Disneyland.

How do you book the premium viewing?

You call (714) 781-4400 to make the reservations for the F! premium viewing. Reservations can be made a month in advance.

Glad to hear kylie71 that you will be doing the premium viewing for F! during your trip. You will like the viewing area and the dessert box. The dessert box was so good that I couldn't finish it, so it will be a nice dessert when you go back to the hotel. I did it a few years ago when the show was upgraded back in 2009.

There is no AP discount for the F! premium viewing.

Do they actually deliver the food and drinks before the show starts or also during the show? I don't like it when the food and drinks are being served during the show as it interrupts your viewing.:goodvibes

TIA!

Thank you mvf-m11c. :goodvibes I am starting to plan my trip in April and am a newbie to DL.

They usually let you take your seat 30 minutes before the show. Drinks are served immediately, the dessert trays come out not longer after you sit down.

Ask for a bag right away if there are several of you, no way you will finish everything.
