Fantasmic / Parades / Fireworks in September?

I know that typically in the fall "off season" there are few or no Fantasmic showings, parades and fireworks, except on weekends.

We're planning a Sunday to Thursday trip for Sept. 11-15 and were wondering whether there will be more of these special things this year because of the 50th Anniversary celebration.

Does anyone know or have any thoughts?

Thanks!

I think the plans for the 50th celebration are to keep everything running even in the off season. I'm not entirely sure though.

We go at the beginning of value season, the very end of August first of September and when we are there everything seems to be running. during the week they usually only have one showing of Fantasmic, but again that may be different with it being the 50th. The fireworks are done as well. Just a little earlier since the park closes earlier. Again this may be different with the 50th

Hope that you have a wonderful time

I am also planning to go that same week - Aug 28-Sept 2. I have never been at that time - do you think the crowds are any better than the rest of the summer? That is what I am hoping, and planning to leave before the Labor Day weekend. What time does Disneyland usually close during that week?

I am going in Sept. as well. I am hoping that it will be like the 45th anniversary inwhich they had fireworks and fantasmic every night to celebrate. I haven't heard and official word but, I will keep my fingers crossed looks like we will be there the same time.

We like to go to DL during the last week of September. During our trip last fall, there was no Fantasmic because the ship was being refurbished. The fireworks were only on the weekends, and I believe that there was only one parade running during the week. I think that whether these things run during the off-season this year will be dependent on the projected crowds--I doubt that they will pay to run these things unless they think that attendence will be high enough to warrant it. How they project these things, however, is beyond my understanding.
