I apologize if this has been asked recently. I looked through a few pages and didn't see anything on it.

Has anyone done the Fantasmic Package recently? How does it work?

Is it 1TS credit? I'm considering Mama Melrose.

Any feedback is appreciated!

When doing the package, how soon do you have to arrive at the theatre?? Is it a nightmare getting out after the show?

We did the package at mama melrose this past november. It was our first time eating there and we loved it. We didn't get to the theater really early, probably 30 minutes ahead of time and plenty of seating. And leaving wasn't bad at all...just followed the crowd on out!

As recommended on the link you should be in your seats 30-45 min. before show time. In periods of heavy attendance, they will release the reserved seats to the general population 30 min. before show time. I've seen this happen even on days with relatively low crowds.

It can be a bit of a scrum at the end of the show, with everyone rushing for the exits and the busses. The reserved area is nearest the exit, and we always leave a couple of minutes before the end of the show to avoid this. But this is easy for us since we are inthe top row (handicapped seating).

It's no different than the periodd after Wishes or Illuminations. Either leave just before the finale or take your time and let everyone else exit before you do.

Is this package worth using a TC for? The only reason I'm consider this is because in our party we will have a 3 yr old & 6 yr old. Dont want to have to sit around waiting for an hour if we dont have to. Kids will be driving us crazy just sitting. And last time we went to Illuminations, we got there late and didn't have great seats, ended up having to stand the entire time - another great thing with little kids

We had the Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose for a late lunch in November. Food was good. Service was meh. We actually arrived very close to the start of the show...we lost track of time and there was still plenty of seating. I guess it depends on what time of year you are going. On all of our previous trips, the threat of the crowds made us avoid the show. Glad I didn't got through the aggravation of not having the package because although I know I am in the minority, I didn't care for the show very much. It was nice to see once but I won't do it again.

IMO, yes it is because you get an appetizer with the package even though you are using the DDP which usually does not get an app. We've never had bad service but we have had to wait to get our table even with ADR's every time. They are a little slow so plan for that. It wasn't bad service, we kept our drinks full and bread coming. It just isn't fast.
