Fantasmic Package PS time?

Has anyone gotten a PS time other that 4:00 - 4:30 for the Fantasmic Dinner Package? I have been told by 2 different CMs at CRO that the packages are totally booked and only available for that 30 minute window. What is your experience? TIA!

When are you trying to book for. From our experience and that of many other here, Ive found they only open up those early time at the 90 day window. About 3-4 weeks before the date, later times will open up.
Of course if Fantasmic is early, then they can only book early dinner times since you need to be done eating before 1/2 hour before the show.

Thanks CamColt. I should have mentioned that we are trying to book in Dec. when there are 2 Fantasmic! shows - 7:30 and 8:30. I appreciate your help!

If you plan to do the second show, I would recommend not doing the package. Im not even sure if they will book it for that. A few days before Christmas last year we were able to walk into Fantasmic about 20 minutes before the 2nd show and get 4th row seats. The sections on either end of the theater were still empty at show time. The package definitely wasnt necessary then.
If you plan to do the 7:30 show, I would think maybe 5:00 and possibly 5:30 times will open up as it gets closer. I would start calling a month in advance and keep trying..and of course keep an eye out here. Usually someone will post a heads up when later times open up.

We were only able to get 4pm at the Brown Derby for Jan 20th.

for 4:20 at Mama Melrose's on the 21st of Dec. I think (it might be the 20th or 22nd........don't have my notes in front of me). We don't mind the early, but I think I've seen several threads in which posters have said you can call again closer and get a later time.

I'm going in about a week, and I ended up having to change my plans (and thus the Fantasmic package booking). Both times I tried to book, the latest seating available for a 7 PM Fantasmic show was at 4:40. This was about 25 days from the date of our visit.

I've got 4:20 at Hollywood & Vine the week of Dec. 4th-I was told too that because the show is at 7, they book no later than 4:30 for the dinner pkg.... I figure we'll just have a very light lunch/snack that day and maybe hit Beaches and Cream that night for ice cream!

I just booked the Brown Derby for 11/13 8pm Fantasmic, and the lastest I could get was 4:30pm.

Hopefully it will work out better this time...I tried it last year and was rained out! The food is wonderful though, so here goes nothing...

We just got back and we did the Fantasmic Dinner Package at the Brown Derby last week. I booked this 7 days in advance. The Fantasmic show started at 7:30 pm and the latest PS time they would allow was 5:00 pm. It appears they are adding lots of safety margin.

We had a 4:40 pm PS and we were seated 15 minutes late (4:55). We didn't leave the restaurant until 6:25 pm. Things just seemed to move a little slow, but we weren't in any hurry (no complaints).

We were a little surprised at how long it took to complete the meal and I now understand why they have such early seating times. If you want better seats for the Fantasmic show, arrive 45 minutes before the starting time (yes, even with the Fantasmic Dinner Package).
