Fantasmic Package.....Later Hours?

Anyone know if and when later hours open up for the Fantasmic Dinner Package retaurants?

We're booked for H&V Fantasmic on 9/28. When I first booked, I was told that they only had a FDP window of 4:00 - 4:30 (or something around that). I figured this was because the later hours for the restaurant weren't open yet. I waited until the 30 day mark and called and was still told the same thing.

I've read some posts about people not being able to get the later time slots for Disney Studios restaurants until much closer to the actual ressie day. Anyone have any experience with this? Do later times actually open for Fantasmic as well? About when do these normally open?

don't know when you are going but have you checked the time for fantasmic..it was i think 7 or 7:30 in the winter so you really couldn't go much past 5-5:15 and maybe they were all gone. you might get a cancelation later

Actually, we are going in September. I booked the package right on the 90 day mark so I know that the early time was because of late hours not being open, not because it was booked up. I know they open later hours at some point, but I had heard it was previously the 30 day mark. It now seems to be getting closer to the actual ressie day.

The later dining times open up between 30 days and 3 weeks from the date, so you are within the range for later times. I usually call every couple of days once I get within 30 days, and so far I've always gotten the later time I wanted. Good luck!

I actually like the early PS time, myself. That gives us time between the end of dinner and the begining of the show to get in a few more rides. And by the time the show starts, I'm hungry enough to have a Mickey Bar!

I've got the same prob - when I called two-weeks ago the CM told me to try back on the 1st of Sept for later times.

I tried last Friday for September 18th and still nothing open later than 4:30.

We're in the same boat for 10-25 with a 4:40 @Mama Melrose. If anyone has any luck getting a later time closer to the date, please post and let us know!!
