Just a couple of questions:

1. If I want to go straight from meal to show, what is the preferred time to make a PS?

2. Where exactly is H&V?

3. is the buffet good?

4. Where exactly do we go for the show? I know the line is different than the regular line, but I didn't quite understand the directions on allears.net. In fact, if someone could give me specific directions as I'm leaving H&V to the fantasmic show, I would love you forever!

I've gone to WDW for years, but I haven't gone to Fantasmic yet even though I've wanted to, b/c my dh refuses to wait - so hopefully this will not get him impatient! :)

I found the H&V food just okay....some love it, others hate it....I wouldnt go back, but thats me....Im not big on dinner buffets to begin with.

we did the brown derby as well....great food, but much higher price. Ive never eaten mama melrose.

H&V is not far from the main walkway into the park. I think as you walk in from the gate, you take a left before the big mickey hat and its right there....not hard to find.

as far as where you go into fantasmic with your ticket....you walk back toward the front gate....just before you get to the gate, you will see a "service station" on your left....there they let you in to get to the show....they will also explain that when you get your tickets from H&V.

they tend to book fantasmic packages early....my advice is book something now and if you want something later...call within 30 days of your trip and try to change the time. If they book you at 4:30 or something, its obvious you dont want to go straight to the show.....and you dont have to go from dinner to the show.....they will give you tickets....you can go whenever you want

Our meal this past week was 6:30 (gotten within 25 days..and we cancelled our 4:30 time), and we ate leisurely and then went to the show, getting there at 8:30. We thought the food/service was great. They did take our DDE card also.

:)

Then how could I resist making a reply  ..........then I discover that someone has already replied ;) with all the directions you require.

Seriously though, H&V seems to me to be the good value option for the DP. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal (take an extra layer with you as the air con is severe and my wife and daughter became quite chilled). The show itself is superb and as you've probably read elsewhere the reserved seating removes the possibility of finding yourself in one of the (few it has to be said) less than good viewing spots.

Enjoy.

We have done it twice and always had dinner around 6pm and it all goes very quickly. We found the food to be very good and good choices for the kids. We will go there again next year.

thanks to all of you - and yes, I love you all!

any more reviews of H&V would be appreciated too - what's on the buffet?
