Anyone still think there's any hope on getting Fantasmic on Thursday, October 11th or do you think the calendar is official now? Thanks!

I was trying to book the dessert package for that day and the CM I spoke with pretty much said no Thursday Fantasmic that week.

I thought the only days they did F! in October were Saturday and Sunday. So, never on Thursday nights. Is that wrong?

When looking at someone's link for historical park hours, it showed Fantasmic on Thursday during this time last year.

Correct...Last year it was shown on the first two Thursdays due to higher crowds. Appears they are not doing that this year.

watch! i bet you that disney thinks that its not going to be crowded in Oct. by basing how things went this summer...Im telling you now...its gonna be!!!! everybody has been holding off to go to DL because they thought the summer would be more horrible than usual..so they are all going to be going between Oct. and Jan. because of cooler weather, the crowds will be less due to school being back on etc..mark my words on this!...its gonna be crowded...:faint:

All I know is we are trying to change our hotel and everything close on Harbor is completely booked. Good thing we already have a room, but it's much more expensive than I'd planned on.

I would be thrilled if they added it Thurs. We'll be there Tues-Sat afternoon and won't have a chance to see F! at all, and it's my favorite thing.

laura- Same here. I got $99/night for the Red Lion from Expedia. Not as close or as cheap as I wanted but best I've found so far. It might be $89 for no 'fireworks view', and there's no fireworks weeknights anyway so probably should've taken that ourselves but Fri. we don't have party tix so might just watch fireworks from the hotel then.

I think the first few weeks will be really busy too. A lot of people are taking advantage of the Gay Day ticket discounts and planning vacations then.

Many (most?) Phoenix schools have that week off. That probably contributes a lot to the crowds.

Maybe Disney will realize how booked everything is and add F! I'm hoping but not expecting it.

Mary09 thanks for the tip. I hadn't even thought of Expedia. Red Lion was booked (we're going the week after you) but they had room at Anaheim Plaza that I'm considering.
