Fantasmic on dining plan

Just booked a fantastmic lunch June 8th. We plan to use our dining plan. Do you know if we get an appetizer how they used too? I called dining and she looked forever and finally just said no you don't. Anyone use the dining plan recently and get this? I wanted to book dinner time but only lunch time came up. Do you think more times will open?

Yes, an appetizer is included with the Fantasmic dining package.

The last Fantasmic! Dining Package time is probably around 6:00 since there has to be enough time for everyone to eat and get to the theater in time for the first showing. The last times tend to go quickly, but since the original purpose was to encourage more people into the restaurants during less busy times they probably won't add more later times. It looks like you can book H&V until about 7:00, but it is a buffet.

At MM and HBD adults will get an appetizer with their meal.

I was going to say yes, One crredit at Hollywood & Vine and Mama Melrose and two credits at Brown Derby. But after looking at Disney's site again I am unsure https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/hollywood-studios/fantasmic-dining-package/ Particularly as dinner is now a character meal at Hollywood & Vine.

EDIT to add, I then tried to make a booking and on the second page of Disney's site it did confirm that the dining plan is still accepted and it is two credits for Brown Derby. Hollywood & Vine was only offering lunch times for one credit.

I have a 1 credit Fantasmic lunch at Mama Melrose booked for January if that helps.

Thank you! I had already booked the Hollywood and Vine lunch (I didn't know they had the characters for dinner now) and I'm *thinking* of adding the DDP to my reservations.
